May 15th 33 years ago, we started an amazing adventure. 4 amazing children, 18 moves, 5 dogs, 12 different football teams, priceless Jones & Garrett family beach trips NC to NJ, creating forever friendships coast to coast, and the Lords protection. The most powerful woman in the room is not the loudest one.
She is the most unbothered one.
And before you think that means she does not care, keep reading. Because this is actually about caring deeply about the right things and releasing everything else.
I spent years trying to juggle everything, please everyone, and show up for the whole world while quietly running on empty. I thought that was what a good woman did. What a good mom did. What a good wife did.
What I know now is that you cannot give your best to anyone when you are giving everything to everyone.

Tucker swallowed a small tennis ball. Poor boy! Surgery to open abdomen and stomach to extract the ball. Amazing surgeons at Capital Veterinary Specialists in Tallahassee!
