Hooded Series 002 by Baldman 🌚🥁

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Introducing @claudiobaldman one of the inglorious ravers of @possibleothers crew based in Madrid. 🌿Link in Bio

🥁🥁"In this mix I wanted to show my love for percussion with a wide range of songs centered on drums. But I didn't want to stay just there, so throughout this mix we also find other genres always present in my library such as breaks or ghetto, electro and even some techno tracks.

In this trip we can differentiate three parts, starting down with the cry of lament that Roly Porter shows us in Assembly in a first part that progresses little by little with slow-paced drums and with sounds from different distant places that change abruptly from time to time.
In the middle of the mix we have a series of topics that give to stop the part of hard drums mixed with tranceros, Latin or broken sounds.
And finally we continue to elevate the revolutions for reducing suddenly in a last theme to conclude. "🥁🥁 taken in Madrid, Spain by @hoodedrecs

To start the year nicely (2020 the year of Akira's Neo Tokyo), Hooded Records has teamed up with collage artist @ablameiko to include a print of hers in a Limited Edition 12' of @irazu___ ‘s Last Ray's EP.

One basic tenet of Capitalism is excluding the unworthy — by denying them access to what they want they’ll therefore become worthy in order to get it, or they won’t in which case they absolutely deserve to suffer.

That's why Hooded Records has decided to only make 30 copies of the print available, so you can fight like hyper- consumerist on a Black Friday, and feast on the bloody carcass of both Irazu and Tamara. by @hoodedrecs

After publishing in labels like Semantica, Hara, Stale or Jealous God, @irazu___ exposes his vulnerable flank in Hooded Records in a record with great healing power for the nightlife-damaged minds. The precious melodies and soothing titles Lavender Mist, Just Breathe, and the homonym Last Rays, manage to tame the Shimmering Substance(s) and to overflow the broken ravers souls with pure, uncut love, while freeing them from the fears and anxieties usually attached to the comedown of an over-extended, masochistic, polydrug fueled sesh. We could say that the work is seeded in a Burialesque "music for after the rave" kind of feeling, but its root rather emerges from Berlin’s spacious techno soil and the purest, uncut human emotions. The vinyl comes in a classic 4 tracker EP format and the digital adds on Bandcamp two ambient pieces making the whole thing a sort of lifejacket Mini-album for the sinners. All tracks by Irazu for Hooded Records, 2019. Design by Luishock. Mastered by Xergio Córdoba at Eternal Midnight Studios. Pressed At @recordindustryspain Distributed by @subwaxbcn by @hoodedrecs

HOODED 05 test pressings have just landed as you can see from the stereotypical "the test pressings have landed video". Some guy called @irazu___ "might" have something to do with its content... by @hoodedrecs
