📍 October 11th
@ 427 146th St.
5-8p
for an intentional experience holding space for the reality of grief and its potential as an incubation period for alchemy and regeneration.

THE WORLD around us requires that we “move on” and put grief aside to continue our work.

In observance of Hoodoo Heritage Month, and decolonial spirituality WE OFFER an evening to pause, reflect and release in ways that feel genuinely transformational.

Bring the spirit of a loved one into the space with photos, objects/mementos, instruments, words and memories as we build an altar to honor those we’ve lost.

Together, we’ll carry communal & individual grief into a stance of reclamation/power for our minds and bodies.

Co facilitated by @claridadwellness @eckx__ @saint.404 and others..

Recalling : To The One’s Who Fly : A Meditative Offering To Our Trancestors - Led by @qween.vee__ ✨ - Most of what we know about those ancestors who laid the groundwork for modern queer/trans life is tied up in the history of Black struggle especially in resistance to police, courts, prisons, the law, etc.

Gratitude for those who joined us as we remembered those who came before and made plans together to move forward for their sake and ours.
