I have to confess, I didn’t pick the dye colors for this yarn.

My three year old did.

This summer, I asked her to pick a couple dyes and I would make it into a yarn for her. And BOY does she have an eye for color, are you kidding me??

This colorway is named Penelope (after my daughter ofc) and it is my FAVORITE. It starts with a light pink base, soft and sweet, and finishes with some punchy blues, pinks and yellows. It’s tough to capture the depth and brightness in photos, so I brought it out in the golden afternoon sun at my last market so you can see it really shine ☀️

It’s the most all purpose color of my colorways, works well on its own or as an accent color. Beautiful in a simple stitch but gets even more intriguing in a textured stitch.

I can’t wait for you to try it 🫶🏻

The Happy Birthday colorway is getting lots of love (understandably) and I thought it would be fun to share what it looks like all worked up in a few different styles.

Also, fun fact, my two year old daughter named this colorway. I asked her what I should name it, and she was in a short season of wanting to wish everyone she met a happy birthday. I thought it was actually so perfect that I kept it 😊

I had an uncharacteristic bought of outrageous confidence and I posted my yarn on my sh🪩p. You guys. This is a BIG DAY.

Dyeing my own yarn has been a highlight and I am so excited and nervous to share it with my fellow fiber artists! It’s a super bulky base with a whooping 137 yards. All of the colors knit up so beautifully and I hope you love them as much as I do!

It’s available made to order, and lead time (hopefully) won’t be more than a few weeks while I get into a rhythm of dyeing.

I can’t wait to hear what you guys think 🫶🏻

it’s giving tie-dye shirts drying in the grass in the summer sun while you eat a dripping popsicle before falling asleep on the sofa in front of a fan.

this one’s for my fellow 90’s babies 🫶🏻

i am unrealistically optimistic that i might actually have my website live by midsummer and that i’ll talk myself into listing some of these instead of knitting it all up myself. i’ll keep you posted 🤷🏼‍♀️
