During tuna season, we can’t help but reminisce of the 604lb Bluefin tuna that we hauled in a few years back. An almost 4 hour fight. 3 hours of full drag on a 50 class reel. The incredible bluefin tuna fishery along the east coast in recent years, makes for some intense long battles with big fish.

Fun fact: bonefish will rip 100+ yards of line into your backing in seconds…pure speed once they feel the hook.
