IBJJF Pan Pacific quadruple gold 🥇🥇🥇🥇

I was able to complete a clean sweep of Pan Pacs in my first year at adult brown belt. This is something I have been working so hard to achieve these past months, so to finally accomplish it feels surreal 💪

I had 8 fights this weekend winning 7 by submission. This is the sharpest I’ve ever felt going into a competition, so I am super pleased with the result.

Thank you to my coach @lincbjj for his constant support, teammates @dominancemma and my family & friends for always backing me, appreciate you all! 🙏🫶

Thanks to @hooksbrand for supporting me with quality gear! 🔥

I am truly blessed to be living the life that I do, God is good! 🙏✝️

@ibjjf Pan Pacific Gi & No Gi 🥈🥈

I had a great experience getting to compete with people from another part of the world! A few days before leaving I got incredibly sick, and still being here have been sick, but I still gave everything I had, even doing open class, and still went out as much as I could to see as much as I could in this country! Traveling the world and getting to see different kinds of people and environments is genuinely the most rewarding experience, no matter how I perform in these countries. I’m very grateful to be here, and to have the ability to work hard to get myself to these places. I’m also so happy that this time I could convince my friend @goodvibesbri713 to come with me! ❤️

panpacs gi - adult middleweight 🥇 and open class 🥉

very happy with my performance in the gi 🤩🤩 i was able to secure two submission wins with no points conceded against me, playing from both bottom and top in each match. ive been working a lot on my top game and hq passing since joining @etpbjj so im really happy to finally be able to display some of that work and our methodology at a competition of this calibre!!

in the open class i also had two great matches, again with no points conceded against me. first with submission and using our hq passing sequences - we’ve been working leg weave with a heavy cross face the past few weeks so i was super happy to be able to put that into action. unfortunately my semifinals match was 0-0 and although i felt i was active enough on top for the win, the decision went to my opponent - all is fair in love and war, and she went on to have an incredible finals match!!

overall, for my first 6 months at purple belt ive been really happy with my competition success. but more importantly, my jiujitsu has come a long way. i used to only feel comfortable on the bottom and had a solid closed guard game but not much else. now i feel just as comfortable playing on top as i do on bottom, and im enjoying expanding my game, learning new ways to play and im really proud of my progression, consistency and growth.

wouldn’t be here without the support of my teammates and professors at @etpbjj - love you all so much!!!!!!! huge congratulations to my teammates who competed too, it was so cool to share the mats together on the day. words can’t describe how insanely good the coaching is at my new school. ive been fortunate enough to travel and train in many schools across the world, and nowhere compares to the etp team in bali. if you have the chance to come and visit, please do - id love to show you our world and our methodology!!!

also massive thanks to:

PAN 2026🥇🥇🥈

@ibjjf @ibjjf_asia

Firstly, I must thank Jesus. My foot and arm both popped over the 2 days and nothing broke. And I had the courage to keep going and fighting with all my heart.

The absolute final was the hardest match I ever done, injured and tired against a top opponent.

Thankyou to @edson.ortiz.71 for giving me advice to pull out of no gi open class and rest for gi next day, and cornering me in absolute and also encouraging me when I was down.🤍🙏

To @thiagoortizbjj who never gave up on me, and also for all the hard trainings! All the hard work will eventually pay off I love you , congrats to you🫶🫂

@ortiz_academy the best team in Australia, soon everyone will know, it will just take time! Everyone showed so much support and it was very important to me.

@hooksbrand the best gear in the game, I compete comfy and in style, thank you for your endless support🙏

@cwmedia__ you are truly incredible, so hardworking and always managing to get stuff done under pressure, i appreciate you so much and next time I will win absolute🕺

Thank my family back home for all the support as well. Luv u dad & mom

What an event! What an experience!
the work continues- just believe🙏🙏🙏 by @hooksbrand

4 wins, 1 loss and 3 golds and 1 silver to finish the weekend! 🥹❤️

Definitely not my best jiu-jitsu this weekend. I struggled with an overwhelming amount of anxiety, and honestly, I couldn’t even tell you why!😅

As always, there were a few tears (okay, a big cry 😂), but I came back today with one mission !! to finish strong!

Managed to turn things around in the gi, winning both my divisions, and for that I’m incredibly grateful!

Not every competition is going to feel good, and sometimes the biggest win is being able to pull yourself together and keep going🩷🩷

A huge thank you to my gorgeous bug @lachlanconway_bjj for being by my side through it all. Your unwavering love, patience and support mean more than you’ll ever know. Without you, I’d be even more of a mess! 😂❤️

Thank you @hooksbrand for always supporting me!

Thank you @undeniablegrappling for being a part of this journey! I wish I could have done more of what we were practising but on to the next!!! Can’t wait to grow more and more each time! #hooks#hooksbjj#grappler#happy#fitness by @hooksbrand

panpacs nogi - adult, middleweight 🥈

highlight of today was meeting and having the honour of sharing the mats with so much female talent. first time in Australia, i was so excited to come as i could see how much women’s bjj is growing here, and DAMN these girls are fucking impressive. not only a bunch talented athletes, but also all bloody lovely human beings too. the room was full of good vibes, friends who fight each other and competitors that clearly respect each other. thank you to everyone i fought with, prepped with and all the support - coming without a team or coach to a new country to fight is always a little nerve racking, so it was so beautiful to feel so much love from everyone today.

another day living the dream!!!!

as much as i love nogi, at the moment i just compete in it for fun and my training/focus is the gi, so im really looking forward to getting back into the comfort of my ✨cotton prison✨tomorrow and seeing where im at on the journey. if today is anything to go by, you best believe im hyped to fight some amazing girls again tomorrow!! 🙂‍↕️🤩

@etpbjj @marcelinhotavarez @marlonmaike @jairbomfimc thank you for building me into the athlete i’m becoming. it’s hard to put into words how much is changing because of my professors and my team: my jiujitsu, my mindset, my relationships, all of it, for the better, every day. so grateful. 🖤

also massive shoutout to @hooksbrand for kitting me out with this wavvvvvyyyy af set😮‍💨
