✨ Dancing through the dunes of Aotearoa🌵
I can hardly believe that after all our travels through New Zealand and so many countless moments in which we were speechless about the diversity and beauty of this country, Aotearoa has once again managed to show us ANOTHER new facet.
These giant dunes felt like being in a desert but it’s Northland, New Zealand. 🌾🌏
Grateful for every step this journey keeps unfolding. 💚

Ich kann kaum glauben, dass nach all unseren Reisen durch Neuseeland und so vielen unzähligen Momenten, in denen wir sprachlos waren, über die Vielseitigkeit und Schönheit dieses Landes, Aotearoa es ERNEUT geschafft hat, uns noch eine neue Facette zu zeigen…

Plötzlich war es wie in der Wüste - die Giant Dunes im Northland. 🌾🗺️ Eine der letzten Landschaften, die ich hier erwartet habe.

✨ A dream came true at Extravaganza Floor
My very first performance at Fusion Festival… and I still can’t believe it happened. 🥹💛

The plan was simple: Meet up with @neodym_rei during the day, go over the performance, coordinate our outfits, get ready at 8 PM, and start performing at 9 PM.
Then everything changed.
A fire broke out, and the entire festival had to be evacuated. 🚨🔥

When we were finally allowed back onto the festival grounds around 10 PM, I honestly thought there was no way we’d still perform that night.
Then I received a message: “Are you ready?”

Well… kind of. 😂

My actual costume was still at camp, way too far away to grab in time. But somehow I had exactly what I needed with me: my hoop and the glitter pants I’d packed “just in case” it got cold. ✨

So I changed my pants, tied up my hair and suddenly I was stepping onto the Extravaganza Floor. 🥹

Seeing friends in the crowd, dancing with my
Hoop, feeling the energy… it’s a moment I’ll never forget. ❤️

Still processing the magic of Fusion. ✨💛 My mind is still somewhere on the airfield and I already want to go back. 🥹
I’m also still recovering after coming home sick while somehow surviving exam season. 📚
It was unbelievably hot but I absolutely love daytime raving. You’ll find me dancing for hours in the blazing sun long before the night begins. Was it hot? Absolutely. Did I love every second of it? Also absolutely.

Fusion is just unreal. The amount of love, creativity, craftsmanship, art and organization that goes into creating this world is beyond anything I can describe. ❤️ There are more people at Fusion than in my hometown...
I’m beyond grateful that thanks to @neodym_rei I got the chance to spontaneously perform at Fusion Festival—and even wear an artist wristband. 🥹✨
A dream came true, and it still doesn’t feel real. (Also, let’s be honest... the biggest artist wristband perk? Skipping the toilet queues. 😂🚽)

What a phenomenal hoop session… 🌬️🌊
Dancing in the wind with the ocean in front of me — I didn’t stop until I literally had to drop to the ground from exhaustion 😂

I’ve been using my favorite hoop size forever because I love it. Every move usually flows effortlessly, like second nature.
But this time… I changed it by 5 cm to try out something new.

And yes — at first, it felt like a real adjustment.
Every trick that normally comes so easily suddenly felt different.

But then something shifted.

Leaning into that challenge, adapting, finding control again — and doing it in harmony with the wind… was unreal.
The same wind that would usually throw me off became part of the dance.

At some point, it felt like I wasn’t just moving the hoop anymore —
I felt completely in sync with it… and with the wind around me.

And something else surprised me too…
Even the different color and look of the hoop made me feel different.
It sounds strange, but it genuinely felt like I stepped into a new version of myself — a different energy, a different personality while dancing.

Like I wasn’t just learning something new…
I was meeting a new part of my hooping.

5 cm might sound small.
But in hooping, it can change so much (even how my favourite size hoops feel now).

This isn’t about what’s better — it’s about allowing yourself to experience something new.
And wow… I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much.

Best way to spend the holidays. 🏝️

3 performances in 22 hours.🎈🌀
Somehow every social institution in town decided to throw their summer party on the same weekend — and I was at 3 of them.
It was a lot of fun and work designing a kids’ show from scratch for the very first time, finding a costume, choosing the props, creating playlist with kids and „normal“ songs, tying a plenty of balloons, transporting all the stuff without owning a car…
Exhausting? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. 😍
The fact that this is part of my job right now still blows my mind. ✨🌀 Thank you so much for the invitations. ♥️

Ich bin immer noch soooo hyped von unserem Wochenende – ich könnte euch wirklich jeden Tag ein neues Video davon zeigen! 🤍✨
In diesem Clip nehme ich euch mit durch unseren Samstag.
Samstagmorgen trafen wir alle aufeinander und nach einer kleinen Orga-Runde, ging es direkt ins Kennenlernen – aber nicht einfach nur „Name und fertig“ (das merkt sich ja eh niemand 😅). Stattdessen gab es ein Speed-Dating mit einem inneren und einem äußeren Kreis. Immer 2 Teilnehmerinnen saßen sich gegenüber, bekamen eine kleine Aufgabe und hatten genau 1 Minute Zeit. Dann wurde gewechselt.

Nach einem gemeinsamen Warm-up, angeleitet von @hoopingness , startete mein Workshop „Signature Moves“. Ich habe einige meiner liebsten und meistgespielten Tricks gezeigt – mit unterschiedlichen Varianten und Alternativen, sodass wirklich alle mitmachen und selbst entscheiden konnten, wie weit sie heute gehen möchten. Am Ende haben wir alles zu einer gemeinsamen Combo verbunden – dieser Moment, wenn plötzlich alles zusammenfließt… 🫶
Nach einer kurzen Pause ging es weiter mit der Flow Combo von @siemi_hoopflow Und wow – in nur einer Stunde hat sie eine lange, anspruchsvolle und wunderschöne, ganz typische Anja-Combo unterrichtet. So viel Ausdruck, so viel Kreativität! 😍

In der Mittagspause gab es Catering, Zeit zum Ausruhen, Austauschen und natürlich zum Shoppen. Unsere Shopping Area war ein kleines Highlight für sich: Secondhand-Schätze, Kleidung, Schmuck und Hoop-Merch von @susanne_hooplove @anbelyn_hoop @schmiddl.middle @hula.harmony @siemi_hoopflow . 💫

Der letzte Workshop des Tages wurde von Juliana angeleitet. Es ging darum, unterschiedliche Gefühle zu vertanzen, sich auf Musik einzulassen und sich im Anschluss darüber auszutauschen. Ein wunderschöner, verbindender Abschluss.

Und als wäre das alles nicht schon aufregend genug gewesen, wurden wir mehrere Stunden vom @ndr.mv begleitet! 😱🎥 weiter in den Kommentaren… taken in Greifswald, Germany by @hoopfull_becci
