This @pinkfloyd song was very intimidating for me to hoop to. There’s such emotion and intensity and feeling. I already really embrace the emotions from music in general, so songs like this can be A LOT. I felt pulled by the lyrics, and then by the beat, there and back again. It’s such frenetic energy. Let me tell you, there were a LOT of flying hoops because I was getting so into it. 😅 but here’s a clip where I kept it together. Yes using the pink setting on my @moodhoops , to add that extra vibe. 💜💕

Rachel Ruiz aka @hooprambler has been a part of our #HAHRfam since our very first year. It’s been a pleasure and an honor to watch her continue to level up her skills and step into teaching both online and in person. She infuses joy and play into any room she’s in and we’re so excited to learn from her at #HAHR2026 next summer in Colorado 🏔️🥳

Bio:
Rachel, aka HoopRambler, is a flow artist currently based out of Omaha, Nebraska. She bought her first hula-hoop post-divorce as a tool for rediscovering joy and self-empowerment and it was love at first sight. Her first few years of hooping were dedicated to personal growth through daily practice and along the way was introduced to other flow arts including fans, which she loves to combine with her hoops. Now she has turned that focus outward through teaching. Her goal is share creative ideas and inspiration, to introduce new ways to hoop and flow, and to embrace all the joy that is hula-hooping.

I always love the movement and feel I get from these 22” 3/4 UV Yellow mini hoops. They are so fun to play with!
Don’t ask me my favorite hoop size…. Or number of hoops…. Or color… 🤣 it changes everyday and I love them all.

Thinking on bringing back the Emotional Flow Wednesdays- I just feel my body calling out for that intensity and release. The past couple months have been… a lot… mentally and physically, and I’m just ready for things to settle and to ease back into more flow and creative inspiration.

I also know I will find such beautiful connection and magic at High Altitude (in 10 days!!!) so I am excited to use that as a springboard.
