Grief is so strange - If someone came up to me and said “it’s been five years” I wouldn’t believe them. Some days it feels like 10 years, some days it feels like last week.

Your legacy continues to touch so many people. I rarely go a week without someone talking about you, your kindness, your heart, and the way you impacted their lives. I carry that with me with so much pride as your daughter. I hope to be continuing on your legacy - being kind & loving on people with all my heart.

Five years is a long time. I can’t believe it’s been five years, dad. I miss you every day & I hope you’re so proud of the woman I’ve become.

Two weeks ago I got a cake that said “Who said you could leave us???”

I’m really feeling that currently as I cry in my car after saying goodbye before she moves tomorrow.

I don’t have words to describe how much Kelly’s friendship means to me. She is one of the most genuine, kind hearted, amazing people I have EVER met. She is so obviously in love with the Lord and you can tell that by her heart. She cares deeply for others and loves so well. Can I be like Kelly when I grow up?

Even though I am so, so sad, I know the Lord gave us each other for a reason, and four hours distance ain’t got NOTHING on our friendship. 😉

Kelly, I love you with all of my heart. Thank you for loving me and being literally one of the greatest blessings in my life.

I’ll see you so, SO soon🥰 (like in two weeks…)
