Hoosier Chapter supported the Hoosier Hospitality March over the weekend and supplied and supported a water station for the well over a thousand Hoosiers who attended. It was so good to see so many members of our Hoosier Chapter community there! Thank you to everyone who volunteered Saturday and for all those who popped by our station to grab some water or say hi on the 2.5 mile March and at the Vigil.

Hoosier Chapter stands in solidarity with impacted communities across Indiana. Immigrant and refugee communities are so often at the frontlines of the climate crisis and impacted disproportionately by environmental conditions without access to relief due to status or fear. If you want to learn more about the intersection of environmental and climate issues and immigration our Chapter Book Club recommends "The Intersectional Environmentalist: How to Dismantle Systems of Oppression to Protect People + the Planet" by Leah Thomas, "Disasterology: Dispatches from the Frontlines of the Climate Crisis" by Dr. Samantha Montano, and "Intertwined: Women, Nature, and Climate Justice" by Rebecca Kormos.
