It’s been on my heart lately that God made the mountains, valleys, seas, and trees and called them good. But then He made us in His image and said that’s my MASTERPIECE, and sometimes we move so fast we miss the beauty He’s placed in others. This video was from a New York subway in June 2025, and it reminds me that we’re surrounded by talented, creative people, brothers and sisters made by the same Creator. I’m grateful I stopped long enough to notice. We spend so much time chasing extraordinary moments, that we forget they’re often waiting for us in ordinary places.

Romans 15:7, “ Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory”

This verse came to mind because this moment reminded me of what it looks like to welcome and value the people God puts in front of us. All it takes is slowing down long enough to notice it💝 taken in New York City by @hope.acrey

Wow. It doesn’t feel like 201 days since I publicly professed my faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. In these past six months, the Lord has shown me so much. But above all, He has taught me forgiveness.

Being a Christian is not easy. “Enter by the narrow gate…” (Matthew 7:13). This road is tight and often lonely, but I trust that the glory at the end will be worth it.

I haven’t been consistent. I’ve sinned more times than I can count. I’ve fallen short and haven’t always lived like the woman of God I desire to be. Yet, “where sin increased, grace abounded all the more” (Romans 5:20).

Forgiveness keeps meeting me right where I am. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us” (1 John 1:9). The world may see my mistakes and label me a sinner, but the Lord sees a heart being refined, corrected, humbled, and deeply loved.

This walk has taught me that forgiveness isn’t only something I receive, but something I’m called to give. “As the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive” (Colossians 3:13). I’m learning patience. I’m learning love. I’m learning to extend grace to others the way Christ continually extends it to me.

I am not finished. I am not perfect. But I am His. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, thank You for never giving up on me. Thank You for Your mercy that meets me in my weakness and Your grace that carries me forward. Continue to soften my heart, correct my spirit, and shape me into the woman You’ve called me to be. Teach me to forgive as freely as You forgive me, and help me walk the narrow road with humility and faith. In Jesus’ name, amen. 🤍 by @hope.acrey
