Due to last year's surgery, getting my leg to a baseline, hoping I'll be able to do more photography that I used to.
I don't do this for others, though I enjoy sharing what I find along the way!

Hoping to get more out there as time progresses and I can determine where my leg's full limits are. I wanted to wait for the time that I did to see how I can be during shopping trips and long days of walking before walking back into the woods where I'd most likely be alone. Confident enough to know I won't fall, but I know my little hikes will cause me some pain the next day but certainly worth it for my mental health.

Looking forward to fall for the scenery !

A fortunate view from one of my windows. Always appreciate being able to look out my windows and see a mountainscape, especially in an aged town with churches pretty much on every block. Always makes a nice scene in winter.

Moving back to what I consider my home town after being away for 13 years, I never had a bad feeling or guilt to return home.
I had always missed sunsets in the area, sure elsewhere I could just go to the beach or stand in a park but nothing beats driving back roads to chase the sun as it goes down.
I no longer have to talk on the phone to catch up with friends , or drive hours just to see them.

I spent practically a year making home, home again.
I now just show up to friends houses like it's the early 2000s.
I sit and enjoy a meal by myself on occasion at a local restaurant.
I explore further now that I'm not doing everything on foot.
I watch the sunset practically everyday off the back deck.

I moved away originally and started over in the Philly area, then New Jersey and met a lot of wonderful people along the way, and seen a lot/experienced alot.

Now, I'm back to where I always wished.

From visiting, to moving here, being away, and now back again, this road never ceases to amaze me.

I always remembered coming here when I was a kid with my family before my father's passing.
The place hasn't changed since any of us were kids, neither for our parents, which is probably why my dad always got a kick out of it.
On occasion I'll still come by to get a burger and hot dog with everything on it and sit at the bar and reminisce, seeing a family there and think maybe in the future one of those kids would come back with a family of their own and do the same thing.

There are still memories to be had in the area, I may joke but you damn bet I'll stand for this area too.

Everything is only going to be what you make of it, so make it the best you can.
