Sometimes we notice God’s presence right away. Other times, we only realize He was with us when we look back. We’re so happy to have the opportunity to share “There Was Jesus” with everyone. We’ve always loved this song and the way @zachwilliamsmusic and @dollyparton brought its message to life. Beyond their music, both have offered powerful examples of living out their faith through generosity, service, and care for people who are too often overlooked. This feels especially meaningful as we remember Dolly. Her faith, kindness, and generosity touched so many lives beyond her music. Rest in peace, Dolly. ❤️ The message of this song is simple, but one we all need sometimes: through the joy, the uncertainty, the struggles, and the moments we never expected, we were never walking alone. There was Jesus. We hope our version brings you a little peace today and reminds you to look back and see the places where Jesus was there all along. 💚 #HopeGrowsHere #ThereWasJesus #HopePraiseBand #HopeLutheranChurch #HopeLutheranChurch #HopeFreehold #ChurchMusic #PraiseBand #FreeholdNJ #GrowingEngagement #NJSynod #ELCA #LutheranChurch by @hopefreehold
Today, on All Saints’ Day, we remember and give thanks for the saints who have gone before us. Our remembrance wreath is adorned with ribbons honoring loved ones whose lives and memories remain in our hearts. ❤️ Today, we especially remember: Robert, Rose Marie, Carol, Michael, Marie, Gloria, Donald, Johneen, Krista, Deena, Charlotte, Jacqueline, Lee, Mariusz, Edward, Jules, Judy, Alice, Eleanora, Kevin, Charles, Marilyn, and Anne. Though their earthly journeys have ended, their footsteps remain woven into our lives. We give thanks for their lives and rest in the promise of eternal life through Christ. ✝️ #hopegrowshere #allsaintsday #hopefreehold #freeholdnj by @hopefreehold
From spooky walks to walking for a cause, some of us definitely got our steps in this weekend! 👻🚶 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who walked, donated, and supported Hope's team for the Freehold Crop Hunger Walk! Whether we were running from scares or walking to make a difference, it was a great weekend of fellowship, fun, and giving back! #hopegrowshere #growingimpact #growingcommunity #freeholdnj #hopefreehold by @hopefreehold
485 sandwiches for St. Peter’s this past Tuesday! 🥪🥳 Even with HCS Back to School Night, we found space and made all 485 sandwiches! We even had some help from one of our Sunday School friends, who took on the important job of packing and counting up all those cold-cut sandwiches! A big thank you to everyone who came out to help and who continues to support this effort with donations! ❤️ #hopegrowshere #growingimpact #freeholdnj #hopefreehold by @hopefreehold
Yesterday at Hope, we welcomed Axel into God's family through the waters of baptism! 💙 We were blessed to share this special moment with Axel, his family, and our Hope community. May God’s love and grace surround Axel as he grows in faith. ✝️ #hopegrowshere #growingcommunity #growingminds by @hopefreehold
400 sandwiches for St. Peter’s! 🥪 Even with a lighter group than usual this month, we still pulled it off! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to help, donated supplies, and continues to support this ministry month after month. It’s amazing what we can accomplish when everyone pitches in! #hopegrowshere #growingimpact #freeholdnj #FaithInAction by @hopefreehold
Thank you to everyone who braved the torrential rain to join us for our Backpack Blessings during yesterday’s services! 🎒☔️ It was wonderful to see all the backpacks come forward as we prayed for our students, teachers, school staff, and families. May they be surrounded by God’s love and guidance throughout the year, with confidence when they are anxious, comfort when they are afraid, and encouragement when they are tired. Wherever this year takes you, God goes with you! ❤️ #hopegrowshere #growingminds #freeholdnj by @hopefreehold
Here’s another we’ve been excited to share! 🎶 💚 This summer, the Hope Praise Band headed into the church to record one of our band favorites — “Child of Love” by We The Kingdom! Music has a special way of bringing people together, and this song captures so much of the joy, energy, and faith that our band loves sharing at Hope. It’s also a chance to celebrate the amazing volunteers who show up throughout the year, share their talents, and make our music ministry what it is. A big thank you to our entire praise band and to @audiostellarproductions for all the time and work that went into bringing this project together! We hope you’ll turn up the volume and enjoy “Child of Love!” 🔊 Hope Grows Here. 💚 @Featuring: @stauds22 @mishellmaibelle @ashlaayyy1114 @erikaenglanddd @vikingle @ridgemonthigh80 @dchae223 #HopeGrowsHere #ChildOfLove #HopePraiseBand #HopeLutheranChurch #HopeFreehold #ChurchMusic #PraiseBand #FreeholdNJ #GrowingEngagement by @hopefreehold
Gracious God, on this day of remembrance, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11 and all whose lives were forever changed. Comfort those who still carry grief, and strengthen all who work for peace, healing, and understanding. Guide us to care for one another, to serve our neighbors, and to be instruments of your peace in a divided world. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen by @hopefreehold
Only a few days until Rally Day at Hope! 🎒 This Sunday, we’re back to TWO services, so don’t forget the time changes! Join us at 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM as we kick off a new year of Sunday School and Hope Youth in between services. We’ll hold our annual backpack blessing during the children’s message at both services, so be sure to bring your backpacks! We’ll also have a lemonade stand supporting Liv Like a Unicorn throughout the morning! We can’t wait to see everyone back at Hope as we begin another great year together! 💙 #HopeGrowsHere #growingminds #growingcommunity #freeholdnj by @hopefreehold
Hope Grows Here. 💚 And sometimes, you can hear it in the music we make together. Over the summer, our Hope Choir and Praise Band came together to record “Living Hope,” and we’re so excited to finally share it with you! 🎶 As we get ready for Rally Day and the start of another year together, this song reminds us of the living hope we have in Christ and the ways it continues to grow as we worship, serve, and share life together. This was made as a special thank you and to highlight some of the many incredible people at Hope who volunteer their time and talents to our music ministry, supporting Josh throughout the year. And a huge thank you to @audiostellarproductions for going above and beyond to help bring this project to life! We hope you enjoy “Living Hope!” ✝️🎵 #HopeGrowsHere #LivingHope #HopeLutheranChurch #HopeFreehold #ChurchMusic #PraiseBand #ChurchChoir #FreeholdNJ #growingengagement Featuring: @stauds22 @mishellmaibelle @ashlaayyy1114 @erikaenglanddd @vikingle @ridgemonthigh80 @dchae223 by @hopefreehold
