HopeKids families in North Carolina got to dive into the colorful, squishy, gloriously messy world of slime at the Sloomoo Institute, and every bit of it was completely donated by the Sloomoo team! It was a hands-on, creative afternoon that had kids and parents smiling from start to finish. The Charlotte Knights brought the fun to our HopeKids North Carolina families at Urban Air in Cornelius! As part of the Safe at Home Grant, Knights players, staff, and Homer the mascot came out to spend the morning with our families — and Homer did not hold back. He was jumping with the kids, diving into the foam pit, and keeping everyone laughing the whole time. Players mixed in with families, signed autographs, and made every kid feel like a VIP. A huge thank you to the @CharlotteKnights for choosing HopeKids as your Safe at Home Grant recipient, and to Urban Air for opening early just for our families! by @hopekidsinc

The 2026 Minnesota Hope K was incredible! Thanks to @traditionco, 50+ sponsors, and hundreds of supporters who showed up for the cause, we exceeded our goal and raised over $200,000 to support families who have a child with a life-threatening medical condition. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's Hope K such a huge success! by @hopekidsinc

⛳ Kansas City golfers hit the greens at Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate for a fantastic Tee Up for Hope event, raising $80,000 to support families who have a child with a life-threatening medical condition! Foursomes teed off with a hearty breakfast, snacks and refreshments on the course, and some friendly competition for Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. The day wrapped up with a post-game reception, complete with a special gift for every golfer. Thank you to every golfer and sponsor who showed up big for our HopeKids families!

Movie night at our place 🎥🍿

In partnership with the Phoenix Suns/Mercury Foundation, HopeKids families in Arizona who have a child with a life-threatening medical condition enjoyed an unforgettable night on the court as the arena was transformed into a private theater, complete with a movie on the Jumbotron, popcorn, and commemorative T-shirts. The Suns Gorilla, Suns Dancers, and Suns Alumni Mark West all stopped by to meet families, sign autographs, and share words of encouragement. 🧡🏀 It was an evening that will be remembered long after the credits rolled. by @hopekidsinc

If you're in Arizona or Colorado, here's a fun way to give back this summer. Roadhouse Cinemas in Scottsdale, Tucson, and Colorado Springs is hosting a toy drive for HopeKids families now through July 5. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy at any location and snap a photo with the Woody and Buzz cutouts while you're there.

More than 1,000 people from the HopeKids community came together at Sunsplash Waterpark in Arizona for a night that was entirely theirs.

The whole park. Private. Just for them.

Kids who navigate life with medical equipment got to enjoy every water feature, from the lazy river to the wave pool, without a second glance. No staring. Just fun, alongside families who understand.

One HopeKids Mom shared that her family doesn't usually get to do water parks because her HopeKid is sensitive to sunlight, but an evening event changes everything.

Events like this don't happen without the generosity of people who know how hope can be such a powerful medicine. We are so grateful for every person who makes nights like this possible. by @hopekidsinc

What a sweet way to kick off summer! Morris-Jenkins brought their ice cream truck to our Summer Kick-Off Picnic at Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park this past Sunday, and our North Carolina families loved every bit of it.

We're so grateful to the Daniel Keating Foundation for awarding HopeKids Kansas City a $20,000 grant in support of our HopeDay Program. Through this initiative, families who have a child with a life-threatening medical condition are invited to sporting events, theater performances, concerts, museum visits, and more at no cost, giving them something to look forward to throughout the year and an opportunity to spend time together as a family.

Our HopeKids Kansas City families got a front-row seat to the greatest show in baseball when the Savannah Bananas invited them out for a night of Banana Ball. There were trick plays, dance routines, and nonstop energy from the first pitch to the last out.

One HopeKids mom put it perfectly: "Watching the Banana players dance with Nathaniel, joke around with him, and truly SEE him meant more than I can explain. These guys are truly one of a kind."
