Today, we celebrate mothers in every form. From every dog mom who endlessly walks, feeds and vacuumes the dog hair.

To the foster moms who take the time to love, teach, and make these once abandoned pups finally feel safe and at home.

To the moms adopting seniors, knowing their time is limited, but showering these old friends with love and endless treats.

To the actual dog moms, who far to often find themselves in shelters, alone and scared, yet miraculously take care of their babies despite their terrible surroundings.

This Mother’s Day is a little extra special for us. Our friends @hitlivingfoundation alerted us about the need for a foster for a precious mama, who had been dumped at the Harbor Shelter (owner surrender) just one day before giving birth. She gave birth to her 5 little babies in the cold, noisy shelter. Fortunately, HIT Living stepped in and pulled this precious lady and she’s landed safe and sound with us. Anna, today is for you.

Some weekends are made for two legs. This one’s made for four. 🐾

Here’s how we’d spend three perfect days in Jackson Hole with your best friend by your side the whole time.

Friday: Check into @thecloudveil, explore Town Square, and shop @modernbeast, @workshopjacksonhole and @lelarosejacksonhole
Saturday: Grab breakfast at @persephonebakery, wander the @jacksonholefm, spend the afternoon hiking to Ski Lake, then enjoy happy hour on the patio at @stagecoachbarjh
Sunday: Pick up lunch from @creeksidejh and let your pup run free at Emily’s Pond before heading home.

Sweet Silver and Dory, today is for you. Watching these two beautiful mamas care for their little ones reminds us how resilient and selfless our animal friends are. From giving birth and caring for your 16 puppies in a cramped trailer to embarking on a journey to Idaho, your story is one of love, resilience and unwavering strength. Watching you nurture your little ones is a gentle reminder of the selflessness that lives within every mother.

Today, we celebrate mothers in every form. To the devoted dog moms who walk, feed, and endlessly sweep up fur with love and patience.

To the women in rescue and foster moms who open their hearts and homes, offering comfort to pups who once felt abandoned, teaching them that love is safe and home is real.

To the moms who choose seniors—knowing that time may be short but determined to fill those days with warmth, joy, and all the treats a heart can hold.

And to the mama dogs who find themselves alone in unfortunate situations, frightened yet unwavering in their love—caring for their babies despite the world around them.

Last month at our Marina del Rey offices, we hosted the most adorable puppy yoga class. Taught by @krystinaholbrook with puppies courtesy of our friends at @pupswithoutborders 🐶

Pups Without Borders specializes in rescuing pregnant and nursing mothers who have been abandoned or are in need of medical help. Stay tuned for our next puppy filled event. ❤️

A few weeks ago we said goodbye to our sweet old man. How do you sum up 18 years of life in a few short sentences?

With short little legs, an oblong body and a face that forever looked like a puppy, everyone who met him loved him, despite his often smelly little self.

He was plucked from the shelter, back home in Nebraska, by my grandmother. When she passed, we took a road trip across the country to spend his last years by the ocean. Originally named Nick, I referred to him as Toast, based on his loaf like, odd looking body. 🍞

How lucky are we to have the choice to spend our lives with these little creatures. They become our friends, our family and teach us the meaning of unconditional love, because that is all they know. Thank you to everyone who showered him with love these last few years, and also for tolerating his lack of hearing and stink. Till we meet again old friend. ❤️

p.s. Stop buying dogs.
