When I think of all the reasons to fight for the life of babies, I think of my nieces every-time. I think of the last two years and the blessing Ivey has been to our family.

Although we see messy hands, snotty noses, silly dances, every single thing she does is an act of God’s handiwork.

She is joy, sass, love and small pieces of Heaven. She is a gift that I can’t imagine living a day without ever again.

Thank you Jesus for giving us the gift of eternal life. The only perfect human, the only person who deserved none of what He received. The gratitude we have to offer could never be enough to thank you for what You did on the cross.

One year. It feels crazy that this time last year we were starting a chapter, i had always dreamed of.

Our first year has been such a blessing in so many ways. We have had some big changes and big opportunities. The Lord has shown us how to lean on Him & give up control.

Proverbs 19:21, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
