On January 11th and 13th, Chapter President Bro. Baron Arday (1ΣΣSP25) successfully concluded our semester-long Clothing and Essentials Drive in support of communities in Accra, Ghana🇬🇭. These items were distributed at Nyamedua Children’s Home and Abel Royal International School.

A total of 136 pieces of clothing, 30 packs of menstrual pads, 18 packs of condoms, one menstrual cup sterilizer case, and one blanket were collected over the semester and distributed. In addition to the distribution, a seminar on safe sexual practices was held in alignment with our National Program Project Alpha, emphasizing sexual health education and personal responsibility.

Bro. Arday also spoke with students about his college journey, encouraging academic preparation and higher education while highlighting the importance of transitioning from high school to college.

On #NationalVoterRegistrationDay, the Brothers of the Sigma Sigma Chapter were proud to hold high the Fraternity’s National Program, A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People, with Come Get A Phree Cut w/ Sigma Sigma.

We worked to register students to vote, discussed the importance of civic involvement, and provided free haircuts from professional barbers @godly_masterpieces from @reflectioneternalbarbershop and @_jay.trimz

We continue to urge the Hopkins and Baltimore City communities to register to vote with Alpha Phi Alpha’s @whenweallvote link in our bio!
