Our latest production, A Cinematic Affair, was more than a performance — it was a full creative journey. ✨

For our audience, it offered a nostalgic trip through iconic movie moments across the decades. But for our students, it was an education in versatility — exploring every era and style of dance while deepening their understanding of performance and storytelling.

Under the direction of Michelle Hopper, who curated every element from concept and choreography to costume and screen design, students experienced firsthand what it takes to bring a production to life. Working alongside acting coach Scott Johnson and vocal coach Vanessa Krummenacher, they developed not only as performers but as true artists — learning how to connect, adapt, and become the kind of performers that are hirable time and time again.

It’s productions like these that remind us why we love what we do — creating, learning, and growing together through the art of performance. ❤️

Monday night. The Tivoli. CONFIDE.

Our cast took to one of Brisbane’s most iconic stages for a celebration of the music, glamour and legacy of Kylie Minogue.

A huge night for our cast and the team who brought CONFIDE to the stage.

Last night, I had the absolute pleasure of watching CONFIDE at The Tivoli, and what an extraordinary night it was.

Hopper, you are so goddamn clever. Your vision, creativity and ability to bring something so electric to the stage completely blew me away.

The artists on that stage were phenomenal. The talent, energy and commitment from every single performer was incredible to witness.

A brilliant show and a brilliant night celebrating the work of one seriously remarkable person. Congratulations, Hopper, and congratulations to the entire company. @launchpac taken in The Tivoli Brisbane by @hopperdoyle

What an incredibly special night for LAUNCH.

We are so proud to have been named Best Performing Arts Business for the second year in a row.

And then came the most wonderful surprise of all…
LAUNCH was named BUSINESS OF THE YEAR.

To be recognised amongst businesses across all industries is something we are incredibly proud of and very grateful for.

For 12 years, we have simply loved what we do and worked hard to give our students and families the very best we can.

We are so grateful for the passionate team who bring so much to LAUNCH every day, to the families who continue to trust and support us, and most of all, to the beautiful students who walk through our doors every week. They are at the heart of everything we do.

Our values have always guided us:
PASSION
RESPECT
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
RESILIENCE
TEAMWORK

These awards mean so much to us, but they don’t change the work. We will continue to lift our standards, keep learning, keep growing and remain committed to being better than we were yesterday.

12 years on, we still love what we do and still want to bring our families the very best.

To our team, our families and our students — thank you. We are so proud to share this with you. 🤍

Thank you @localbusinessawards_ for an incredible evening of celebrating small businesses and recognising the effort and passion it takes to succeed by @hopperdoyle

Musical Theatre is an essential part of training at LAUNCH. Today’s commercial performers need to be able to do far more than dance — acting, singing, character and storytelling skills open the door to a much broader range of work across stage, film and television.

That’s why our Pre-Professional Courses and Academy place a strong emphasis on Musical Theatre alongside commercial dance training.

We are preparing versatile, employable performers with the skills to move confidently between musical productions and the many areas of commercial work that demand these same performance skills.

What a privilege it was to work with @nathanmarkwright and an absolute honour to have John O’Connell in the room with us. 🔥
