Efficiency, Excellence, and Innovation for the Brewing Industry.

Time for a bit of a refresh and a new logo! I wanted to fully launch the business and get going towards the end of last year, however it seemed more apt to do it in the new year!! This is why I am forging forwards with a cleaner look, I’m all about simplifying actions, to get the maximum results, so what better way to highlight this than in the new logo. I’m going to be at @societyofindependentbrewers BeerX in Liverpool on the 18th and 19th March so please make sure to have a chat about anything and everything brewing! I’ve done a bit of everything over my career so I’d love to share that knowledge to support the brewing industry, at a time it really needs it. If you haven’t yet, sign up to Beer X and I’ll see you all there! by @hopsandtapssolutions

Thank you so much for the support so far! It means a lot as I venture into this new world, with that in mind I thought it would be good to post a picture of me! I’ve been running my beer focussed @hopsandtaps for the last 5 years and as some of you eagle eyed people will have spotted that picture is from @bellwoodsbeer in Toronto! This leads me nicely into my fun fact of the day and I’ll post more over the next few weeks. Some of you know already but I am both British and Canadian so that gives me a unique view into two craft beer worlds! I’ll be at the @thebrewersjournal Brewers Congress in London on Tuesday 30th September and Wednesday 1st October so if you see me wandering around stop me for a chat! #craftbeerstagram #craftbeerpics #ukcraftbeer #canadiancraftbeer #beerfriends #craftbeerlover #craftbeerbusiness #smallbusinesssupportingsmallbusiness #smallbuisness #culturechange #transformingbusiness #newbusiness #craftbeernerd #brewerscongress #londoncraftbeer #beerevent #craftbeerevents #picofme #nicetomeetyou #craftbreweries #breweries #thebrewersjournal taken in Ossington Strip by @hopsandtapssolutions

I’ve just hit the 5.5k followers mark so a massive thank you to everyone that has stuck with me and continues to engage my page!! I am so proud to be part of this community and I will always support where I can! It’s great to be part of something like this and I’m there to chat all things beer related! It’s been quite the ride over the last 500 followers and so much has happened in that timeframe! I’ve made it back to Canada to support the industry whilst visiting friends and families! Plenty of beer tourism has happened and of course the legendary @red_elephant_beer regulars beer sessions! There have been ups and downs all the way, some chapters closing and new ones opening up, those closest to me will know the challenges have been real. Here’s to more beers, more venues, more friendships and of course much more fun! The craft beer industry needs as much love as we can give it and more people in it for the love! #hopsandtaps #5500followers #beerpage #beerstagram #craftbeerstagram #instabeer #beerreview #craftbeerreview #craftbeercommunity #ukcraftbeergeeks #indiebeeruk #craftbrewing #drinkcraftbeer #beercommunity #craftbeerenthusiast #beerfriends #craftbeerbuddies #beersession #beerbeerbeer #beersofinsta #canadiancraftbeer #cheerstomorebeers #craftbeeruk taken in Peverell, Plymouth by @hopsandtapssolutions

It’s been quite the week! From finally being able to set up my new venture to attending a great event, @thebrewersjournal Brewers Congress at @bigpennysocial in London. As I mentioned in my Introduction post it’s been quite the ride that has led me to starting out on my own and forging a path forwards, especially in these challenging times for the industry. Those challenges are one of the main reasons for going down this road, to give back to the community and be part of something bigger. Firstly I have to say a massive thank you to @edlennon at @cleanearthenergy for inviting me to this years event, it meant a lot to get that support at a time when things were still uncertain. Also a big shout out to the @thebrewersjournal team that put together an amazing event that really showcased what the craft beer community is all about and awarding real achievements. Finally a huge thank you to everyone, new and old, that spoke to me over the two days, shared a beer and had a good fun time! Those connections are priceless so it is always greatly appreciated! There’s too many of you to be listed but please stay in touch! As always if you need help, support or recommendations on any area of transformation and change, get in touch for a chat to see how we can work together! I also have plenty of connections if you are looking at new equipment, sustainability or even just guidance on brewing trends. #thebrewersjournal #brewerscongress #bigpennysocial #walthamstow #cleanearthenergy #beerevent #craftbeercommunity #beercommunity #indiebeer #indiebeeruk #craftbeerevents #beerawards #craftbeerawards #breweries #beersuppliers #supplychain #businesssupportingbusiness #businesssupport #beerfriends #beernetwork #craftbeerconnoisseur #beerindustry #brewinglife #craftbreweries #craftbrew #transformationandchange #businesstransformation #changeisgood #sustainability #businessefficiency taken in Big Penny Social by @hopsandtapssolutions

The day has come to announce the launch of my new venture ‘Hops and Taps Solutions’ this has been a while in the making, born from something I have always wanted to do and part necessity! I’ve been part of the craft beer scene as @hopsandtaps for some time now and have built up a strong network of friends and contacts within the industry, now it’s time to build on that by using my business skills to support the craft beer world. I’ll be focussing on all areas of the industry to provide transformation and change services, with the aim to make businesses more efficient and agile, at a time when I truly believe it is needed. This could be systems, processes, financial management, marketing, social media and anything else you can think of! My working life has included roles and contracts at some of the world’s biggest companies, covering all aspects of transformation, change and project management. #newbusiness #craftbeer #indiebeer #beerindustry #craftbeerworld #beerworld #craftbrewing #craftbrews #beerbusiness #craftbeersupporter #beerbeerbeer #craftbeerculture #craftbeercommunity #supportlocal #smallbusinessbranding #craftbeeruk #ukbeergeeks #indiebeeruk #craftbeernation #transformationsupport #changemanagement #businessefficiency #businesssupport #soletrader taken in Plymouth by @hopsandtapssolutions
