Happy Halloween, everyone!!! 🎃
Today only feels fitting to announce my long-awaited comic, SUMMERWEEN! 3 short stories of terror written by yours truly, with cover art by @ernesto.cavel. This is a labor of love for me, writing horror tales and commissioning REAL ARTISTS to bring these stories to life. Though being a lowly comic shop guy, I will need help seeing SUMMERWEEN come to fruition. Look for the Kickstarter page to launch at the beginning of 2026, along with the physical and digital edition of the comic dropping in the SUMMER.

I'm extremely excited to finally unleash these creepy stories on you all, and I want to keep SUMMERWEEN going into more issues. That means more original artists' involvement and more fun incentives for backers.

See you on the dark beach next year! 🌊🦇 by @horror_guy

You come across what looks to be an old home, deep within the woods. A record skips playing the same four bars upstairs. "But there is nobody around for miles?" you say to yourself. Suddenly, a soft voice inside mutters "Our skin has arrived." What horrors lie inside these walls???

I had so much fun interviewing Jen & Silvia Soska today! I love when I can ditch out on all my prepared questions and just have a fun conversation about the wild world of creating horror. I'm extremely psyched for what these two have in store next and cannot wait to see more of their horror comic work. #soskasisters taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @horror_guy

Currently at @dabubswings killing some beers while watching Stephen King's IT in October. Found an old jazz vinyl, an issue of The Trick i'm missing and a key Bernie Wrightson horror comic I've been looking for. It was a good day in the city ✌️ taken in The Newsagent's by @horror_guy

'tis the season! 🎃 Interviewing SAM from Trick 'r Treat, actor Quinn Lord. He shared great stories of what it was like auditioning for the role of Samhain, and how far his stunt qualifications went for his age at the time. Did he really witness a bunch of topless werewolves eating a man on set as Sam loomed on? Or was it all movie magic? 😜

Did you know Halloween Horror Nights Orlando did Hellraiser once before?

The haunted house was called Ripped from the Silver Screen, which also featured an Army of Darkness room that took place within the dungeon pit. Hellraiser's had spinning planks with meat nailed to them inside a large torture room.

Episode 61 of The Every Day is Halloween Podcast featuring our walk through of all the Halloween Horror Nights 35 haunted houses at Universals media night is now live! We cover it all and take you inside each house. Want to watch the terror unfold? Check out The Cozy Crypt Youtube. Thank you so much to @universalorlando & @hhnorlando for inviting us out to this years spine tingling event! 🎃
