This painting makes my heart sing and is probably my favorite painting to date!!! Everyone say thank you @sufjan because the song “From The Mouth Of Gabriel” captivated me in a way that is highly abnormal and then I misunderstood one of the lyrics and heard “masquerading as a loon” instead of “as a LOOM” so I painted a bird mask and I think that’s awesome!!!!!! Sufjan Stevens I am not normal about your music. This is about 50/60 inches both ways I need to remeasure, and also I love red circles and this painting was me finally embracing it. Okay I’m done #geesegeesegeesegeese this is titled “A Bird That Is Somehow All Birds” (this is also a callback to sufjans lyric about the aleph room oh my god I LOVE this song)🪿🌀🔴🌊 by @horsewolf_

I can’t believe glaze chemistry sometimes and also I totally named the base glaze Giac’s Green and I’m not sorry about it. A little collection of things I’ve been making/have made and the things I’ve been looking at featuring a bird because of course there’s a bird. I found an old picture and screenshotted it to identify via reverse image search but have yet to do it #birdlover by @horsewolf_

Many angles of a goose pot!!! I’ve been incredibly obsessed with geese, just you wait for the mini geese pots…. And also have been having so much fun with this green glaze I adapted from @pete.pinnell, it reacts so beautifully with the other glazes I’ve been using in the studio!! All handbuilt, cone 6, around 8 ish inches tall 🪿 by @horsewolf_
