There are only a handful of places in the world you can ride unguided, where they hand you a horse, a map and set you off. Last year we tackled Crete, and this year we conquered Wales. Where to next? I’m thinking someplace drier. I did manage to capture the incredible landscape during a rare moment the sun came out! by @horseys

Me and the kid. ♥️ Say what you want about him, but you can’t say he takes a bad photo! On that note, it’ll be nice to have these as evidence of my face before dark circles soon appear underneath my eyes from reading endless pages of legal doctrine and briefing appellate cases from the 1800’s 😉 (Don’t let me fool you I’m looking forward to it) Thanks again Kayla! by @horseys

Murphy was only semi feral for our backyard photo shoot last week, here’s a peek at one of my favorites! My former neighbor is a photographer, her husband was stationed here for a bit and they’ve recently moved back home. Her family used to share property lines with Murphy’s pasture, so I felt really lucky when she asked if she could take some photos of us before they left. I’ve never done anything formal like this before with any of my horses, so it felt pretty special. Thanks again Kayla! by @horseys
