We did it! Honored to be named to the Gambit (@gambitneworleans )40 Under 40 alongside some local legends.

My work centers on translating complex systems into public understanding and building the partnerships that move ideas into action across Bywater Branding (@bywaterbranding ), Climate Culture (@climateculture_nola ), and BYMBO (@bymbo.nola ). I can attribute much of my organizing skills to @nelliecatzen and the @betternola Leadership Forum!

Special thanks to my cofounders and collaborators who continue to shape this work. Excited to keep building.

Thank you for the generous words @ravlove your write up brought a tear to my eye.

Whipped out this lil totem for my parents up here in lovely Montana. Rebar and concrete as beautiful as they are useful. by @hot.trash

Things break. It’s nice to fix them. For many reasons. Kintsugi highlights the break and adds an element of beauty to the fix. Sometimes. Sometimes your sewer line cracks and you dig it out…still full. by @hot.trash

@hot.trash is me, @christomardesign and her, @nomad_magic, and this is our new puppy, Murphy!

We are looking for a third person to fit in our cute little office in the bywater near petit clouet. There’s a kitchen, bathroom, and some desk space. 24hr access, lots of light, and affordable rent!

Interested? Drop one of us a line. This situation is perfect for someone looking to set their computer up away from home. It’s not for living or large scale art/craft creation. Just a cute little space that likes to prioritize focus.
Thanks

I’m not sure if these count as costumes but whatever they are, we danced through the streets until we couldn’t feel our feet’s. by @hot.trash

If it’s not documented, it almost doesn’t exist. Is this true, makers?
We tried to document a recent project of mine the other day. Hope to have it on the website soon! by @hot.trash

Sometimes the best things take very little actual time. But to get to them, you need every last second and you have to make them count.

Building a Living Coastline Together

This week, our team joined @crcl1988 at @lumcon_ocean to help build a 200-ton oyster reef — one of eight living shorelines protecting Louisiana’s coast. CRCL has already planted over a million native plants and restored vital estuaries that shield our wetlands and tribal mounds.

From Chief Devon Grand Callieu and the Chitimacha-Choctaw Band to Dr. Roberts and the LUMCON crew, everyone here is working to protect what’s sacred — our land, our culture, and our future. The new reef sits in view of LUMCON’s west tower, part of a living lab teaching how we can all help bring the coast back. 🌾🦪
