1000th follower, wow. I am humbled that people find me interesting. These are my current entries for 3 different group builds. Got some armor going at the same time. Last picture is my Princess. She keeps me from the bench way to often.

My entry into the @noworneverbuildoff @themodelcarbuildoff pre 40's group build. Very special build as I'm doing it as a tribute for my pops, and plan on giving it to him for his birthday. Its the first street rod he built, and the car I first remember my parents owning. His was plum crazy with a 440 magnum 6pack motor and set up for drag racing. mainly been clipping and sanding so far. needed to modify the back seat since his had a bench seat in the back. last picture is my covid test, after 3 years I finally got it. Boo.

STarting some work on a new project. Haven't had the time or desire to paint so multiple projects seem to be bogged down. Part of it is anxiety about not messing up the schemes, some of it is not really knowing where to go from where I am color wise. I'm much more mechanical than artistic sadly. So starting on this Impreza, third picture is just dry fitted. Last picture is my major form of distraction, can't really leave her alone much so I end up using lots of hobby time with my Puppy.

Got a resin motor for the Porsche 934, and I cut out the plastic one from the kit. Thanks @Jaun4you for the extra brakes along withe the flat6 turbo and tranny. Really nice looking motor that should enhance the build. Also got my new paint racks (nail polish racks) set up. slowly getting my hobby room set up the way I want it.

Working on the 934 for the #ken_block_tribute_buildoff
Cut open the trunk, once the motor arrives I'll cut off the molded one from picture 4. also been working on smoothing out the mold lines a bit. lots of work to come still but at least I'm started.

The third new model I got today. Love WW2 warbirds, and as an ex sailor a navy warbird that comes in a kit this nice should be super fun.

The second new kit from todays trip. My first Japanese car and my first aoshima kit. Looks a lot like an early 70's us muscle car which I love.

Made a trip to my favorite hobby shop today with my wife. Got 3 kits, this is the first. My second porsche. Starting to like foreign cars because the kits seem to be better made than amt or revell or monogram.

Starting on a new project as part of a 1/48 scale dive bomber group build. The first model I ever built 40 years ago was a stuka, it was brush painted with testors lacquers, the decals were crap, I didn't fill any gaps and there certainly wasn't any aftermarket. I've started a few more stuka's in the last year, but I'm hoping @phatbrushstudios GB can keep me motivated. So far I'm getting overwhelmed a bit by the photoetch, but I'm muddling through it. Watching some tutorials while I work and just gonna send it. I won't be winning anything, but thats not the goal, the goals to have fun, learn and grow as a modeler. I'm also doing an armor group build at the same time, but thats much further along. I bought the eduard interior and exterior photo etch kits, and a decal set. Coolest part of the decals is theirs enough for 2 planes (hasegawa makes an 1/48 scale stuka). I also have the Hobby boss 1/32 I'm going to build when I feel my skills are good enough to do it justice (probably 2030 or so).
