033For our next Hot Series, we’re handing things over to @ilias_vh —Antwerp-based, vinyl-curious, and always dancing just in front of the booth. From furniture to floorplans to floor-fillers, Ilias is a designer in every sense; crafting moments, building spaces, and translating mood into sound. His approach is deeply personal, setting the drift between gritty minimal, dusty 90s house, and hypnotic techno, all stitched together by atmosphere and emotional depth. This mix captures a special full-circle moment. While interning as an interior designer at @traum.club , Ilias helped shape the club’s balcony room; transforming it into a snug and intimate second floor. Months later, he stepped into that very same space behind the decks, playing the closing set right after his close friend and mentor @r.omyvr . The result: a raw, elegant ride through four months of digging—trancy textures, minimal pressure, groovy moments and a heavy lean into the vinyl he’s been collecting. His next stop? Opening @klubdramatik ´s Turbine Stage b2b with @jackuzzi__ . 032The Hot Series continues with one of our dear friends. Please welcome @lucimille into the Hotbox. Born in Charleroi and later based in Brussels, Lucien’s story is one of slow, deliberate immersion. From sneaking peeks with @ezekiel25.17__ and curating sets alongside kindred spirits, to digging into record bins across Brussels—every chapter adds weight to his selections. His Hotbox mix was recorded in a familiar setting: it’s 2023, a summer gathering at Cadzand, nestled between friends and golden light. Sandwiched between Bass Toast b2b Toolate Groove and Alfred Anders, Lucien took the floor at 6:30 PM—with only an hour on the clock. These are tracks shaped by memory and mood, rooted in House but layered with electro, funk, and a keen emotional resonance. “If I had to play it today, maybe I’d tweak a few things,” he says. “But the feeling? Still very real.” This mix is more than a snapshot. It’s a time capsule. Having been at it for about two years, her selections are a reflection of a restless mind—constantly absorbing influences from everyday life. This, together with a love for the UK scene shapes her musical DNA to a sound that’s both dynamic and delightfully offbeat.For her mix, DJ Shoplifter crafts a bridge between club season and festival season, blending deeper breaky cuts with bright, oddball club energy. As Hotbox is all about family, we thought it would be the perfect fit to invite our long time friend @moex.mh to the series. Having moved from Rotterdam to Seoul to Lisbon and back to Amsterdam, Moex has had his fair share of reputable record stores to dig from, building up a diverse, yet coherent musical library. Causing this anomaly is Eline Anne, creating a momentum of raw and groovy sensuality, armed with minimalist yet highly hypnotic rhythms and intimidating snares. Born in Antwerp and shaped by the legacy of our city’s iconic Petrol, the German capital now serves as her muse, giving her the opportunity to further explore and mold her sound.
