Good dogs are always welcome at Lucine, and we think their humans are pretty great, too. We're pet friendly for rooftop hangs, overnight stays, and plenty in between. Our dog-friendly rooms mean your four-legged best friend can enjoy a little time by the Gulf, too.

Speaking of pups, Yappy Hour with our friends at @galvestonhumane happens the first Thursday of every month from 3–6 PM! Bring your four-legged friends up to the Roof for an afternoon of drinks and plenty of tail wags.

Around here, bringing your best friend along is always encouraged. by @hotellucine

Galveston. Where the stubborn heat of Texas finally runs out of land and meets the saltwater. A glowing horizon speckled with hazy oil rigs, tankers, seagulls and waves. Something special grows there. Not polished. Not curated. Just real. The kind of place that builds people who've weathered a hurricane or two.

Two surfers in love stood barefoot in the sand and said what the ocean had always wanted them to say. Dem Roots played live on the beach while the waves rolled in and they walked inside Hotel Lucine and started spinning actual records from actual crates, which I've genuinely never seen at a wedding before. The rooftop was loud, warm and full of family and friends.

That's not a hired act. That's a community showing up.

Because that's what happened here. Her people, the faithful, the ride or dies, the ones who've been there, came together and lifted this whole thing into existence. Every hand that helped, every voice that carried a song, every person that showed up, every wave that rolled in. This wasn't a production it was a community, a village, a family saying "we got you"

My face still hurts from smiling.

Some places earn their weddings. Galveston earned this one.

Halloween at Lucine starts Thursday, Oct 29 and keeps going through Saturday, Oct 31, so give that costume more than one night out. Join us for a photo booth by @frm.roma, food and drink specials from our team, and @mijentatequila joining the party all weekend long.

Thursday: Take the mic for karaoke from 7–10 PM, with a popcorn bar by @popdiggity_galveston to fuel your backup singers.

Friday: @imax713 gets things started with a DJ set from 5:30–7:30 PM, followed by @raa.officialmusic at 8 PM.

Saturday: Start with a DJ set from 5:30–7:30 PM, then stick around for @benji.chord’s Spooky Jam at 8 PM. Come in costume for a chance to win a complimentary hotel stay.

Bring your friends, commit to the costume, and get into something at Lucine. by @hotellucine

A little movement by the Gulf is a pretty good way to reset for the week. Wellness has a place at Lucine, which is why you’ll find yoga or Pilates on the calendar almost every Sunday. Check out our calendar for upcoming classes and reserve your spot on Eventbrite. by @hotellucine

The Harvest Moon Regatta is heading out, and we’ve got pretty good seats for the sendoff. Join us on the Roof at Hotel Lucine to watch the boats from above.

Limited reserved seating is available, with one glass of bubbles or sangria included with your ticket. All remaining seating is first come, first served. Tickets on Eventbrite, link in bio.

We’ll be serving fresh oysters, fish and chips, cheese boards, truffle fries, and key lime pie, available for purchase, along with a special drink menu. Come hungry and raise a glass to the fleet. by @hotellucine

The weekend looks better from a table at The Fancy. We recommend mimosas for the table, even if the table is just you. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM, and Galveston locals get 10% off with a local ID.

Reservations encouraged on OpenTable.

The weekend sounds better at Lucine. We’re keeping the live music going every Friday and Saturday, with shows on the Roof, under the Pergola, or in The Den, depending on what the weather has in mind. It’s free, open to all, and you’re welcome to stay for a song or several.

One more round of applause for the partners who helped make Sunset & Sounds happen all summer long. Thank you for keeping the music playing, the drinks flowing, and our weekends on the Roof a little more fun. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Year two at @hotellucine with @magnificoqueen, and it’s officially a tradition. Still unmatched.
