Hot days call for something chilled or something crisp, and lucky for you, we’ve got a little of both. Every Wednesday at The Fancy means Gulf oysters on ice, martinis just how you like ’em, and a seat that practically calls your name. It’s not a routine—it’s your midweek reset, served cool and with a view.

We’re locally owned, locally sourced, and deeply local in spirit—so it only feels right to show a little love to the folks who keep this island ticking.

Locals get 10% off at The Fancy, whether you’re here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Just bring that local charm (and your ID) and we'll handle the rest. by @thefancytx

Smarts will get you far, but fun will get you further. Got something to celebrate? Well, here, it’s always a celebration. Open Wed-Sun from 5-10 pm. Reserve a table for you and yours at the link in our bio.

A good meal deserves a good drink. From thoughtfully crafted cocktails to a wine list worth exploring and a well-stocked bar, we’ve got something to complement whatever’s coming out of the kitchen. And we highly recommend making room for both.

Join us for a holiday supper on the Texas Gulf Coast, with dishes thoughtfully prepared by our team using locally sourced ingredients from our coastal community. Leave the cooking to us and make yourself at home.

An optional pairing of eclectic wines is available for an additional charge. Children’s meals are available for ages 12 and under.

The perfect quick escape!🏖️Sometimes all you need is a short drive and a change of scenery. We checked into @HotelLucine and spent two days doing absolutely nothing but lounging by the pool, which honestly felt like the perfect reset. The beach is right across the street, making it easy to go from poolside relaxation to a walk along the water. One of the highlights was grabbing drinks at the rooftop bar with Gulf views and dining at @TheFancytx. If you’re a fan of Houston’s @Squabletime, you’ll want to add this to your list since it’s from the same team behind the popular Heights restaurant. I hadn’t visited Galveston in years, but this trip was a great reminder that it’s more than just a beach town. The weekend we visited, there was a sandcastle competition and a pirate festival happening, so there was plenty going on beyond the beach. The hotel also hosts private events, and during our stay there was a wedding on property plus a poolside yoga class, adding to the fun, community feel of the hotel. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend without ever leaving Texas.☀️🌊👙

The weekend looks better from a table at The Fancy. We recommend mimosas for the table, even if the table is just you. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM, and Galveston locals get 10% off with a local ID.

Reservations encouraged on OpenTable.

We’re bringing drag to brunch. Aunt Lucine’s Drag Brunch is coming to The Fancy for three Sundays this fall, hosted by Kiki Dion Van Wales, Aunt Lucine’s favorite niece, naturally. Expect local queens, the full brunch menu, and drink specials, all starting at 11 AM.
