well.. it’s actually happening!

after months of writing, planning, and making this little film a reality, we officially launched the DOG DAYS crowdfunding campaign today!!

DOG DAYS is a character-driven short film exploring friendship, guilt, nostalgia, and the way our memories shape (and distort) the way we see ourselves and the world around us. this project is my first major short as a writer/director and something i care so deeply about. i am so excited to finally share it with you.

we’re raising $22,500 over the next 30 days to bring this film to life. if you’d like to support, the campaign is linked in my bio:) even just sharing it with someone who might connect with the film means the world to me🤍

thank you for being here and letting me make things. more soon🎬🏕️

last night, Dog Days stepped out into NYC🏕️

thank you, thank you to everyone who came out, donated, thrifted, hung out, and helped make this night happen. seeing this many people show up for this film, and for me, means more than i can really put into words.

Dog Days has always been a story about friendship, memory, and the people that make places feel like home. getting to experience that community in real life while making this film, has been the most special part of this process! thank you for asking questions, engaging in our world, and being part of this community.

and a MASSIVE thank you to our vendors and everyone that helped bring last night together. @thriftnycstores for hosting us and supporting independent film. @bronxbeerhall for spending the night with us and sharing some campy drinks. @vampriink for their artistic brilliance and time, and @morethansunastrology for their knowledge and energy.

and to everyone that came through, thank you again for believing in this film. we’re building this together🎬🤍

the OG Dog Days sizzle reel🎞️

when i made this sizzle, Dog Days was still very much an idea i was trying to bring to life. now, we’re officially building the team, casting the characters, and getting closer and closer to production.

it’s become really surreal watching this thing come to life.

we’re currently crowdfunding through seed&spark to make it happen and we have 21 days left. Today, we hit 16% :) if you want to help us reach our 80% for the green light, you can:

𖠰 SHARE the campaign with someone who connects with Dog Days
𖠰 PLEDGE if you’re able to (even $5 gets us closer!)
𖠰 FOLLOW the campaign and watch the BTS as it comes to life.

and thank you a million times over!
