A proper Sunday soundtrack incoming.

I’ve not had Crazy P play for me on a Sunday before so I thought we’d let them program the whole day with a host of friends coming to support through the day.

Crazy P will head up an all-day into night gathering across all the areas of Pikes, Freddie’s, Plaza and Poolside for their Crazy P & Friends night.

Don’t miss the hybrid live set from PAYFONE who will play a special Soundsystem show around the pool from 20:00 — 22:00 with some added live vocals to close the pool out. These guys are amazing!

It was such fun to join Jim and Chris from @crazypmusic on a Zoom call ahead of our event together at @peddlerwarehouse in Sheffield last month. So much good stuff ended up on the cutting room floor, so here are a few more highlights from our chat.

We get some hot news about the forthcoming @white_elephant_uk and @Jim_uk15 albums, discussions about BPM wars, tales from the tourbus and more...

It was such a pleasure to hear them play again and see them happy performing at something I'd helped organise. They've been, without a doubt, the most supportive fellow artists during my 20+ years making records.

You can't imagine how much of a difference it has made for me over the years to have their support with what I'm doing.

We've done Boiler Rooms, feral Festivals, crazy Berlin events, Adriatic adventures, torturous studio sessions, interventions, studio deliveroo, legendary afters and last month felt like another great memory to share.

20/20 Vision - Full Circle - Crazy P

It seems fitting that the first Full Circle film features an interview with @crazypmusic co-founders Jim Baron @ronbasejam & Chris Todd @hottoddymusic in the intimate surroundings of their Wollaton St. Studios in Nottingham, ,where the band recorded the majority of their classic music over the same 30 year time frame as the label.

Crazy P were the first ever full live band on 20/20 Vision and we wouldn’t be here without them. So it is with the greatest love & respect that we sat down for a good ol’ chinwag.
