Despite this watch being 40 years old its dial is still silver. They all were when they left the factory, but over a period of years due to light they turn a champagne colour. Because this was in a safe for so many years it still has that silver tone, but it’s just starting to go a little bit champagne coloured. I’m looking forward to seeing it change over the years as I love the champagne look🥂❤️👌🙏

I have always been a massive fan of a silver dial bracelet watch, but why have two. Well they are very different wearing propositions. The @rolex air kind date is worn more like a bracelet, it’s small and perfect for summer wear 🌞 The @longines conquest is much larger and perfect for winter wear when the big coats and jumpers come out ❄️

Got the old faithful back on the wrist today. I really do enjoy wearing watches with different size cases. I don’t like the safety net of finding a size and just sticking it. Honestly guys and girls, try watches with different case sizes and give them time. Totally different wearing propositions, personally as a collector I get a lot out of that 👍

This is now my 4th strap from @thestraptailor a beautiful ostrich black leather for my Rolex air king date 5700. Just absolutely amazing quality and custom made to fit the slightly larger pin the Rolex buckle has. Can’t recommend this company enough. Patek level quality and beyond. ⭐ 👍❤️👌
