My records organized by colour!!

I've been meaning to go through/re-organize my collection for multiple reasons (see if there are any I wanna sell, check if I've forgot to add any to my discogs collection etc.) so thought why not organise them by colour for a bit!

Idk how long they'll be like this so I wanted to post it here to remember it when it goes back to normal

How it looked before:

I'll probably go back to this because it's all alphabetized so everything is way easier to find. Although the colours look pretty idk how easy it'll be to find anything 😭

I decided to start with green rather than red to make it a little more interesting. Turns out most of my vinyl have either blue, red or pink spines so there isn't as noticeable of a gradient as I hoped butttt that's just an excuse to buy more

Added some trinkets to zhuzh it up a little

Green → Blue → Purple

Pink → Darker Purple → Red

Orange → Beige → White

Grey → Black

A little fountain I bought arrived today and it's safe to say I'm in love.

It's a lot bigger than I expected but I'm certainly not complaining, I did a bit of research and apparently you should only use distilled water for fountains but after seeing the size of this I'm not spending the money on a bunch of water so it's getting tap (and a little chalice well water 👀)

Idk if I'll keep the (water safe) crystals in it, I love how they look but I do also wanna prevent damaging them so idk

Btw this cost like £15 on eBay so I do believe it was an absolute steal

𝐏𝐇𝐘𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐘

I know my account is primarily music/vinyl based however Sony announcing that they're gonna stop producing physical PlayStation discs annoyed me so bad that I wanted to make a most dedicated to all physical media.

If I never started collecting vinyl, I wouldn't have discovered so many amazing artists. One of the main reasons I love collecting vinyl is for the artwork too, whether it be the album cover, a booklet with photography etc. If it wasn't for vinyl I probably wouldn't appreciate it as much.

I also wouldn't have been able to received personalised signatures from artists I admire.

If I never started collecting cassettes I wouldn't have started making my own, I wouldn't have discovered a fusion of two passions of mine (music + graphic design)

If I hadn't started collecting CDs I wouldn't be able to appreciate songwriting as much through included books/zines.

If it wasn't for physical games then I wouldn't have been able to re-explore a huge aspect of my childhood, I would've also missed out on amazing inclusions such as maps, art books etc. I also love steel books for, once again, the artwork.

I would've have little details to notice, for example my GOW: Ragnarok copy being in french for some reason (something small but funny enough that it makes me love my copy more) (if I can't buy a physical copy of GOW: Laufey istg-)

Physical media is so much more important than people realise, I know that it has downsides and that many people prefer digital media but Sony (or anyone) shouldn't take away the right to choose

I genuinely hope they see the backlash and reverse their decision by @house.of.frost

My moglings finally have a mum!
Made by @mother_of_gremlin

I saw this one-of-a-kind sun statue online a couple days before comic con (@comicconlpool) and genuinely could not stop thinking about it, getting early tickets to the con was so worth it just because I managed to get my hands on this 😭
(The other two were bought during past comic cons)

Honestly half the reason I look forward to comic con now is because of Mother Of Gremlin's stall

And of course I've named them:
Sun Mother - Ashla
Baby Mogling - Phoebus
Gremlin - Fee Fi Fo Falthazaar III
