Before I was ever in eComm, I was a drama student. My dream was acting school. I was in an ABC Series called “deadlock”…. Now - To be a good actor, you have to be empathetic and observant of humans/psychology. That stage of my life turned out to be the foundation of everything I do today. Marketing is psychology. CHAPTER 1 - 2016 I was 16, working front counter at McDonald’s. I didn’t realise it then. But I was getting a front-row seat to one of the most dialed marketing machines on the planet. The upselling. The brand consistency. The way they connect emotion to routine. Apart from cleaning the bathrooms, I was learning how customer experience drives repeat purchases - and how small moments can lead to large sales. I’m proud of what i’ve managed to build over that time, but even more grateful for every person and business that’s taken a chance on me along the way. Still learning.
