POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After a long time of drafting, revising, editing, and learning more about publishing than I ever expected, DAWNLIGHT is officially querying literary agents.

To celebrate, I created some tarot cards for some of the story's most important characters:

⚡ The Storm ⚓ The Anchor 🌿 The Guardian

DAWNLIGHT is a YA fantasy about found family, friendship, ancient magic, and a boy who discovers that home can be something you choose.

Now begins the waiting. Wish me luck. ✨

So, what is Dawnlight? ⚡

Merritt has spent most of his life trying to survive the streets of New Orleans and trying to ignore the strange things that seem to happen around him.

Then he discovers he's a witch.

And the magic inside him is something far older and rarer than anyone expected: Dawnlight, a power that hasn't manifested in generations.

There's just one problem.

His magic shines like a beacon. And something in the darkness has noticed.

Dawnlight is my New Orleans contemporary fantasy about magic, found family, learning to trust, and finally finding somewhere you belong.

Currently in the querying trenches. 🤞
