*More Decon Half Cabs on the way. The most elevated Decon Cab we’ve seen yet, this release features a quality pebbled leather upper contrasted with mesh accent panels. These are set release this Thursday 7/16 directly from Vans as well as mulitiple other retail accounts such as Urban Outfitters, who will also have the previously shown Camo colorway which is included as part of this Combat Pack. *Series 2 of the “House of Handstyle” Slap packs will be available in limited quantities this Saturday, June 20th at Noon (12pm CDT). Each pack will include one of each of all five variants, additionally the first 20 orders will include a limited holographic variant as well! Packs are $10(+tax) and shipping is free. *Japans first Skateboard company @evisenskateco has teamed up with Vans Japan to launch their first collaboration together consisting of a Skate Half Cab as well as a Skate Old Skool 36+. The Half Cab combines dark brown nubuck and shibo leathers with shiny wave textured leather accent panels contrasted with a purple lining and outsole and wrapped in a dark brown midsole. Detailing and minimal branding throughout create a seriously clean and elevated Skate Half Cab. These are a Japan exclusive and are set to release June 13th via the @evisenskateco website. *The Half Cab Decon is coming back in full force this year. You may recall the Vault x Benjamin Edgar Decon from ‘24, the recently restocked OTW x JJJJound Decon set from ‘25, and perhaps you recall this black pair and the two others that briefly released along with these last year. They were exclusive to the Vans website and disappeared as quietly as they appeared after a few months. The Half Cab Decon is fully stripped of all padding and any tech or fancy upgrades you would find in a Skate, Premium or OTW Half Cab so they tend to run big compared to the others, you should be able safely downsize by a half to a full size, just something to keep in mind. Aesthetically, it’s as clear as day a Half Cab, just drastically slimmed down, if you were around for the Cab Lite years ago, it’s even lighter and slimmer than those were. Definitely expect to see more Decon Cabs across multiple Vans lines this year.
