Happy Monday! How did the weekend go so quickly! We had a lovely weekend putting the world to rights with @beccibyrne @ljb_86 Saturday night! Head was a bit fuzzy yesterday from guzzling chicken wine! It’s a busy week this week holiday prepping then getting ready for Fridays wedding @maxiemoomoo48 can’t wait for this! Still love this wallpaper and glad we made the switch! I’m a bit obsessed with stripes currently! #kitchengoals #openplanliving #mykitchendecor #stripywallpaper #myhomemystyle #myhomevibes #colourfulhome #myhouseandhome #mybeautifulhome #stylingupmyhome #1930shouse @faffyourgaff @littlehomeglowup by @houseofhedleys

We switched up this living room last year! I was never completely happy with the old set up! Sofa colour and position. I’m still not sure I love it this way either!! It’s a tricky room to navigate given that it’s not the lightest room and it’s off the kitchen diner. It’s definitely helped being a lighter colour paint. We all have a room in our houses that we can’t seem to decide on right??

This little lady loves the sun in her face! Don’t we all Aggie! I love how she says with her paws crossed like this! So elegant and ladylike. She chases the sun at every opportunity.

DOWNSTAIRS LOO GLOW UP

Sunday stills …… it’s taken a few months maybe starting in the school holidays wasn’t the best plan! Im really pleased with how it turned out. I was originally planning on playing it safe with the indigo colour way but I just couldn’t resist the cherry bomb from @divinesavages. Just need to add a few more bits in here and it’s done. What do you think ??

Living room details!

I can honestly say I have a love hate relationship with this room! It’s been a few different orientations and I still never quite know if it’s right! I was thinking of changing up the wall colour but I’m kind of enjoying the green again now! Especially since buying my new lamp 🤣

Anyway for now the green will be staying and I’m starting on the snug next so it will have to wait anyway!

UTILITY GLOW UP

A couple of years ago we talked the utility area! It might not be seen that often but it’s still one of my favourite parts of the house!!

KITCHEN DESIGN…Our kitchen really has stood the test of time! Admittedly I’m so ready for an update in here but equally I love the kitchen! It’s what definitely made the sale of this house for us. It’s the heart of our home!! What was the one thing that swayed you to buy your house? 🏠

Same room… but you’d never know it!

This bedroom has had more personalities than I have 😂

We started with the stripes we inherited. Then came the pink and mustard and now it’s become a much more grown-up mix of muted blue-green, burnt orange and bold black & white stripes. As we come into our 8th year at this house we have all used this as a bedroom.

I actually love looking back because it reminds me that your home doesn’t have to be finished. Your taste changes, your family changes and your rooms can change with you.

But I want to know — 1, 2 or 3?

And if you love seeing real homes evolve rather than perfectly finished show homes, follow along — there are plenty more transformations to come. Including the longest ever downstairs loo renovation 😵‍💫

I found some photos on my phone that shows how different the kitchen looks in different parts of the day! Mornings in this kitchen are always my favourite as it’s just so bright and sunny. That being said I do like the nights drawing in a bit especially as we use the lamps more x by @houseofhedleys
