Why would you trust me with your lips if I don’t trust myself? 😂💋

I’ve always loved a bold lip, so obviously I had to give myself the House of Lay Ombre Lip 👀🖤

Filmed the whole process from mapping, outlining & shading to the immediate after with and without ointment, then 3 hours later once the numbing had worn off.

Just remember these will heal up to 40% lighter, so don’t panic at the boldness of the fresh results 🤞🏼 by @houseoflay__

Ombré lip blush 👄✨ those pixels 🤤

If you’re wondering why the inside of the lips looks so pale here… it’s actually completely normal straight after treatment.

The numbing cream causes temporary blanching of the lip, which is why some areas can look almost white immediately after. This is also the natural, untattooed part of the lip, where the ombré colour fades back into the normal lip tissue.

Right now it looks quite dramatic because everything is fresh, swollen and glossy, but once healed, the colour softens beautifully and that ombré creates a much more defined lip border and shape, while still keeping the result soft and natural.

Fresh lips are not healed lips 🤍 Trust the process.

✨ Booking your PMU or aesthetics treatment for a special occasion? ✨

SEMI PERMANENT MAKEUP 🤎
Initial appointment → 3 weeks healing → 6 week top-up → 3 weeks healing

So allow around 9 weeks for the full PMU process from your first appointment to being fully healed after your top up.

AESTHETICS 💉
Healing time varies depending on the treatment, but as a rough guide, allow around 1–2 weeks for swelling/bruising to settle and the treatment to fully settle.

So if you have an event coming up, the earlier you book, the better! 🤍
