if you’re thinking about adding a cavalier king charles spaniel to your family, then there’s a few things you should know

they. will. steal. your. heart.

….but really, you will need to prepare for

✔️ the cavalier hug
✔️ the loss of personal space
✔️ a bestie with long ears
✔️ spicy diva attitude
✔️ spaniel shenanigans

i’ve been around the sun a few times
& as long as I’m still in rotation
a cavi will be by my side 🖤 🐾

sharing a few of our favs! toys they love, wipes we reach for, chews that give us back our sanity + treats that don’t cause blowouts

what’s the team favorite in your house?

this is Bodhi’s idea of a perfect morning

a comfy chair, fresh air, his favorite bandana & absolutely nowhere to be

he’d watch the world go by all day if I let him

how the cat distribution system found us

5 years ago, the hubs & I had just decided we were going to be an animal-free household.

that lasted all of about two months.

he shared a link to a tabby kitten he’d found on an adoption site and of course, I broke instantly and sped over to PetSmart just take a little peep (yeah, right) at this baby kitten with the big emotional eyes.

when I got there, the adoption contact shared that this tabby had been rescued with a black kitten that had quickly become his sidekick and while they weren’t actually brothers, they were completely bonded. this shy tabby was just a bit braver with his friend.

that’s all it took
there was no way I was leaving without them both.

and then they became ‘Frank’ 🐈‍⬛ and ‘Butters’ 🐈

guess the cat distribution system
knew exactly what it was doing 🤍
