Happy 22nd birthday to my darling daughter @iona.houston_ who brings such happiness and joy into my life. Without her I wouldn't be in such good shape due to running around doing all the washing, cleaning, ironing, shopping & cooking......and of course I'd have nobody to keep me company while watching the Sewing Bee or Pottery Throwdown either. Watching her grow up into the smart, funny, beautiful,sassy young woman she's become over the years has made me the proudest of grumpy old men. by @housty_07

Massive shout out to Dan, the owner of the fantastic @indeliblefineart gallery, who went above and beyond my expectations by popping down to the Batcave to hang my new piece on the wall for me personally. Picked up this little beauty by @noart_noheart at the @flyingcircusartfair over the weekend which has prompted a bit of a reshuffle down in the Batcave to find a space on the wall for it. Space has been found thankfully and it looks sick AF in its new home. taken in Hove Seafront by @housty_07

Today's trip oop Laaaandan started off all Christmassy down by London Bridge before moving onto the Gilbert & George Centre, then sneaking in seeing 3 cheeky Banksy's prior to my customary visits to The Barbican, Bar Italia, The Ship then ending the day by hitting the iconic 100 Club to catch an amazing gig by Johnny Moped. Even the three hour journey home couldn't ruin what was an awesome day by @housty_07

Well, me and the bairn have bought our tickets to go see @currlsband play the @greendoorstore which means that there's a maximum of 168 left. At 10 quid a pop these are gonna fly off the shelf especially as they have the brilliant @katepeaches_ supporting and that the proceeds are gonna help them get their first LP out there. Looking forward to seeing you all on the 4th of Dec. taken in The Green Door Store by @housty_07

Revisiting this scene reminded me how Cuckoo’s Nest speaks to power, silence, and the fight to reclaim identity.

Chief Bromden’s transformation - from invisible patient to free man - still echoes today. A haunting reminder of how freedom begins when we remember our own strength.
