“All Stars” Sports Bar Project at the Cercle Sportif, Rugunga. We were engaged to elevate and reimagine the members’ experience, designing a space that moves beyond the conventional to balance warmth with sophistication, making every visit feel both familiar and intentionally elevated. by @houz.54

At the Hill Crown Villa, our approach was to let natural light do the work, moving across neutral surfaces, shifting in tone and depth as the day unfolds. We aimed to make the space hospitable and warm, yet modern and sophisticated: a family home in quiet equilibrium, tranquil, balanced, and at rest. by @houz.54

The 'Masters Private' is taking shape as part of the broader “All Stars” Sports Bar project at the Cercle Sportif, Rugunga. Conceived as a room apart, a quiet volume within the larger program, its design privileges discretion and repose. Low light, and a restrained material palette enclose the space, creating an atmosphere of uninterrupted calm. by @houz.54

Introducing ‘Projet Chalets’, nestled along the shores of Lake Mugesera in Rukumberi, where we designed, built, and equipped the first prototype chalet, with 20 more to follow. Warm timber volumes settle quietly into the lakeside canopy, guiding the eye toward filtered light, wooden walkways, and the water’s edge. The result is a retreat inherently conducive to escape, a space removed from the city where the lake’s presence is inhabited. by @houz.54

Recalling Villa-Colline, situated in Kiyovu: a project where our mandate was finishing. The composition is defined by clean white volumes that frame a private pool terrace, where water and tropical planting settle into quiet dialogue. The result is a space that feels both open and contained, tranquil by design. by @houz.54

We have commenced the excavation process for Essencia Kivu Hotel, a hospitality destination poised along the shores of Lake Kivu, conceived to dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior: creating a space inherently conducive to repose, where the lake’s presence is not merely observed but inhabited. At the Hill Crown Villa, our approach centered on harnessing natural light as the primary design vector, allowing it to animate neutral tones across surfaces throughout the day. The resulting modern living room achieves a state of harmonious equilibrium, tranquil, balanced, and inherently conducive to relaxation. by @houz.54
