🔥🦬 THE BURR WAS ROCKING! 🦬🔥
**THROWBACK*** BASKETBALL SEASON IS COMING!!

On January 31, 2026, Bison Nation turned The Burr into a full-blown home-court experience as the band, cheerleaders, and crowd brought the energy against Norfolk State! 🎺🥁📣

From the first beat to the loudest cheer, The Burr was alive! The band was playing, the cheerleaders were bringing the juice, and Bison fans were making their voices heard from every corner of the building.

This wasn’t just a basketball game.

THIS WAS THE MECCA.
THIS WAS BISON NATION.
THIS WAS THE BURR. 🔥

And when Norfolk State came to town, Howard showed them what home-court energy sounds like!

🎥 Turn the volume up.
🗣️ Feel the crowd.
🎺 Hear the band.
📣 Watch the cheerleaders.
🦬 EXPERIENCE THE BURR!

H-U! YOU KNOW! 🧡💙

We just watched our Lady Bison compete on the BIGGEST stage in college basketball. 🦬💙
Now it’s OUR turn to show up for THEM.
26 wins. 26K. Let’s match that championship energy with championship ACTION. 💰🏆
Our women poured everything into this season — every early morning, every late practice, every moment on that court. The least we can do is pour back into THEM.
You cheered. You watched. You felt every single moment. Now let’s make sure they FEEL US too.
Link in bio to donate to the 26K for 26 Wins campaign. No contribution is too small. Every dollar is a statement that HBCU excellence is worth investing in.
Bison Nation — bring that same energy you bring to every game. 🦬🔥
We don’t just cheer. We BUILD. 💙

What does being a woman in sports mean to you? 💜✨

We caught up with the Howard University Cheerleaders at the MEAC Women in Athletics Workshop to hear their perspective on leadership, opportunity, and what they’re excited to gain from this experience. The future of sports is bright and these women are part of it!
