Dear Sass,

You left us far too unexpectedly.

Sometimes in life, you meet someone and instantly feel a special bond. Sass was one of those people for me.

She was an incredible artist, with a wonderful sense of humor, a warm heart, and a gift for true friendship. During the Bowie tour, our friendship grew, and I feel very fortunate to have shared those moments, the music, the laughter, and the memories with her.

I’m going to miss that wonderful, powerful voice, her incredible presence, and most of all, the beautiful person behind it all.

Rest in peace, Sass. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

We love you. ❤️ by @howardheckers

Old days, softer somehow. The light felt warmer, the laughter stayed longer, and time didn’t rush so much. We didn’t know how good it was—but maybe that’s why it was. Still, the memories hold up. Still good days, in their own quiet way. I’m happy I was there by @howardheckers
