吴, It speaks about selfsameness throughout the years and how we should stay true to ourselves, despite any obstacles or the perceptions others may have of us.

A poster heavily inspired by Moderna Museet Poster made way back in 1962 by John Melin & Anders Österlin. Adored the way they cut off the type and a little rotating and flipping made the visual feel more interesting. by @howardr_

While working on my revisions, I got bored and lazy. So I threw a tantrum and opened a new file. I ended up feeling so inspired by Bea Feitler’s 1972 cover design for the December issue of Ms. magazine. The bold use of color is a pleasure to my eyes. Bea really pushed the boundaries of editorial with her use of experimental approach (focusing on type and imagery).

I tried to fit these types into a single box margin so they could work like a modular system, where the type can be stacked and still fit together like a long quote. by @howardr_

In today’s data humanism practice topic is the patterns or behaviors of AI usage globally per year 2025. Interestingly, the highest usage of AI is by developers for generating codes on daily basis and the lowest is for personal use of therapy and companionship.

The graphics are inspired by dandelion but in a sort-of “virus” shape where it resembles how AI has become an “outbreak” and affects everyone’s life. Through the shape, I also want to tell how AI can imitate “life” (in this context, a dandelion) but can never truly become one.

Continuing my practice of data humanism. In this practice, I chose the topic of unmet health care for people in Indonesia. It shows how economic inequality and location constraints can affect one’s health.

In the process of making this, I also watched Giorgia Lupi’s explanation on her way of visualizing life through data and a saying by her that I adore is “Data is nothing more than an abstraction of our reality.” by @howardr_

Today’s data humanism practice topic is data on population in Central, West, and East of Java with health complaints but haven’t sought outpatient treatments per year of 2025.

The main problem according to the data is long wait times for treatment services which made people chose not to sought any health treatments.

The graphic is inspired by cardinal directions with each direction serves as bar chart with different width to clearly indicate the numerical data. by @howardr_
