In today’s episode, my guest is Kate Harrison — founder of ChroME and the woman behind ‘Kate the Colour’ — and we spend the whole hour on something I didn’t expect a business podcast to cover this deeply: colour as energy, and what happens when you lose yours entirely.

A little introduction to me & How DOES she do it?!

But first, time to admit something …

I’ve always been a bit unsure how to do a post like this and so have simply not done one …

Until now.

This is my first attempt and I don’t doubt you’ll have seen slicker, more informative & dynamic posts from others (I know I have!) but by getting this first one out there, I give myself the opportunity to get better over time. I’m proud I’ve started!

This feels a big step and I truly hope you take something from it & learn a little more about HDSDI.

I don’t host in-person events in August and I’m sure you understand why.

What I do though is continue online with co-working & networking as I believe that business goes on in one guise or other for many of us, and it can be nice to dip in without too much time taken up but to meet with like-minded others also working around holidays, caring duties, parenting etc.

And so book today to ensure two connected sessions with other incredible and juggling business owners this summer.

It’s good to step out of our comfort zone for SO many reasons. I wanted to share a story with you today … work through the slides for my little tale!

Perhaps you want to step out of your comfort zone too … with my support & guidance not to mention cheerleading and accountability, I promise that you will go on to do so many things and achieve such success that you’ll wish we’d worked together 1:1 much sooner!

Attended my first networking event since covid with @howdoesshedoitlife. What an amazing and supportive environment, full of lovely ladies, and left feeling uplifted and motivated.

There were stories, honesty, much cheerleading, so much glee

New guests coming, their first time, nerves were eased, I spoke in rhyme

True connection, really deep, not surface level, helped us free

Engaging hearts, soul resonance, so much to learn, such relevance

I think we left with our hearts full, feeling cleansed and in our truth

Ideas flowing, heads held high, a ray of hope up in the sky

It’s not just networking you see, its a chance for us to feel free!”

I wish every single beautiful guest from today the most wonderful few weeks ahead and hope we can reconvene in September here in Basingstoke or before at online co-working and networking next month.

Well, this is truly wonderful! One month after we launched in Basingstoke and we are sold out for July!

If you couldn’t make it then I invite you to online evening networking tonight at 7.30-9pm or indeed online daytime networking on August 6th 9.30-11.30am.

Online co-working landed today, on a Monday at the beginning of a new week! It felt ‘meant to be’!

Every business owner who joins is working on something different; whether getting head down to file transactions for the tax office, to writing the often avoided newsletter, from blogs to social posts, home admin to clearing the inbox, speech writing to research projects.

It ALL happens at online co-working and we talk about the obstacles and we celebrate the wins. We support those going through a hard time and ensure we remain fully authentic and real.

It works. It’s magical. And I’m proud to host it!

I’d love to add that a few weeks back when the first mega heatwave hit, I offered two or three impromptu online co-working sessions in one week (I do this for my wonderful HDSDI members) and whilst the whole world was struggling to focus and achieve, we all powered through goals in record speed due to the coming together and support of being there for each other.

I would LOVE to invite you to try and I wouldn’t mind betting you will surprise yourself massively with the results.

Our next scheduled session is Tuesday 4th August and I’d love to welcome you along even (or especially) if you’re on holiday and need to get work done but don’t want it to bleed across a whole day, I promise this two hour session will be the best investment of your money and time.

Another precious 2 hour networking event to squeeze into a quick reel!

I will NEVER be able to truly showcase the energy and depth of connection from my events in this form … you simply have to come and try for yourself!

A huge thank you to lots of lovely first time guests and also those who have been supporting me for some time. The blend was beautiful and the Caballo lounge looked after us so kindly, as always!

My fans went down a treat and Hannah’s talk was nothing short of heartfelt, touching and true. Many hearts were touched, conversations started and similarities explored.
