🎨 Vintage Art – 1969

A wonderfully atmospheric abstract watercolour by Hervey Adams, signed and dated 1969.

Full of muted greys, earthy browns and soft washes, with almost landscape-like forms emerging from the abstraction. And that original-style silver-toned frame and textured mount are very late-60s. 😍

A striking piece of mid-century British art, now available from Howie’s Picks

This stunning Val Saint Lambert petrol blue cut-to-clear crystal pedestal bowl is an absolute beauty. The deep blue overlay combined with that incredibly detailed starburst cutting really catches the light — and at just over 2kg, it’s a substantial piece, too.

A gorgeous piece of Belgian crystal with bags of Art Deco glamour. ✨

✨ A RARE FIND — JUST LISTED ✨

A rather special piece of Jerusalem metalwork has just landed at Howie’s Picks
https://ebay.io/m/HXn5t5

This striking Alfred Salzmann T598 vase, dating to around the 1930s, features beautifully engraved bird decoration and was produced in Jerusalem, Palestine.

Salzmann pieces are collectible in their own right, but examples with this bird decoration appear particularly scarce ; we found very few comparable examples while researching it.

At just 12.3cm tall, it packs an awful lot of history and craftsmanship into a small piece. 💛
