Save the date. October 22nd. Michael Deforge and Abe Lampert at Howling Pages!!

We are so excited to host Michael DeForge (@michaeldeforgecomics) for a comics reading and picture show from his latest book, All Cameras In My Room, out now from @drawnandquarterly. Michael will be joined by Abe Lampert (@abe_lampert) whose new book Nemesis Encounter from @perfectlyacceptable is out now.

This is a joint venture with @prettygoodfest to kick off what is bound to be their best comics and small press fair yet (Oct 24 at the Chicago Athletic Assoc).

But the Thursday prior, Oct 22nd, we're on deck. So come see comics on the big screen and hear from a couple authors. We'll have seats for all and books from the authors for sale after the reading that they'll be signing. And as always, drinks on us.

Glad I stopped by @howlingpages and @theseventhcornergallery to check out @nerfect Mr. Walters’ Black and White Magic art show! Tons of amazing original ink drawings on display, and the best part? You can take one home for just $15 each!

If you haven’t been to Howling Pages yet, you’re seriously missing out! This shop hosts so many incredible events throughout the year and continues to be a great spot for Chicago’s comic and art community.

And now they have a NEW CLAW GAME!!! Rumor has it you might even find some Bela’s Comics swag hiding in there as prizes sometime soon!

Support local art, support local comic shops, and go check this place out!
