What an amazing afternoon watching these pups find their furever homes last Saturday! 🥹🏡💕

And to make their first day home extra special, every adopted pup received a special welcome bundle from @stellaandchewys + @royalcanin, courtesy of NYC Pet!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible, especially @howlsrescue for the incredible work you do for rescue pups, plus @northbrooklyndogs + @aunt_hilda_ for being part of the day and our pet-loving community. ❤️

Want to adopt a rescue? Head over to @howlsrescue to learn more, or stay tuned for future adoption drives at NYC Pet!

And of course, a BIG thank you to our amazing sponsors @stellaandchewys + @royalcanin for helping these newly adopted pups start their next chapter with a little extra love. 🐶💚 taken in Brooklyn, New York by @howlsrescue

Adoption day with Howls Rescue felt so much more like a community reunion than an event! From alumni dropping by to show off how much their pups have grown, to rescue dogs instantly turning into velcro dogs, it felt like every passerby already knew the organizers. That is real community.

Huge win for the day: 3 successful adoptions and 2 new fosters! 🐾

I had the absolute honor of capturing the very first family photos for these new pet parents.

Congratulations on your newest family members! 📸❤️ taken in NYC Pet Grooming by @howlsrescue

Since 2008, we have donated over 24 million meals to hungry dogs and pet parents in need. Whether supporting animal rescues, food pantries, or families and pets displaced by natural disasters, Health Extension is committed to giving back to our friends and neighbors. Our roots were planted in - and remain grounded in - a small community. We understand the importance of ensuring that community thrives, including the pets still searching for their forever homes. They deserve nutritious meals and healthy snacks while they wait to find their new families, too. by @howlsrescue
