Pause for health 🌟
Important update: I'm going on a hiatus to take better care of my health and avoid burnout. This break is all about healing and finding balance. I appreciate your support and understanding during this period. Let's all remember to prioritise our health. #TakingABreak #HealthFirst A cozy indoor scene featuring a young woman relaxing on a daybed by a window, with her laptop open and a notebook beside her. 📚🌈 I AM A PROUD ALLY

Unfortunately there has been an instance of certain members of the #bookstagram community spreading anti-lgbtq hate. As most people already know this is an #lgbtq, #disability, #race, #gender and #age supportive page. There is no space or place for hate.

Love Suswati ❤🌈

Another flag went up on my street. I wrote this poem in response to 100,000 far-right people marching in London this weekend.

A nice birthday surprise for 2025. Thanks to @pennybatchelorauthor for this wonderful opportunity. Finally getting to sit and hone my crime fiction writing skills after working in the actual field. The image is a screenshot of a social media post from the "How To Be... Books Podcast" account. In the post, the account expresses gratitude to two users, "@penny_author" and "@Profwriting," for a wonderful opportunity. The post also mentions excitement about returning to writing crime fiction. Additionally, there's a shared post from the "Professional Writing Academy," congratulating a person named Suswati from the "@HowToBe247" account for winning the Penny Batchelor ADCI bursary. The academy expresses their delight in having the recipient join their program. by @howtobe247

We're reading @shafakelif's spectacular novel "There Are Rivers In The Sky" this month for @heritagereadsbookclub.

The Heritage Book Club comprises of friends, who came together to bond not only over their love of literature but their diverse nationalities and backgrounds. “As a collective of women immigrants and refugees, we resonate deeply with stories that traverse borders, challenge narratives, and celebrate the diversity of the human experience.”

My first #booknook is from Cutebee on Amazon, called the Eternal Bookstore! Quite fiddly to do and not everything fits together that well, but I recommend getting a good craft glue. I used Flexibond. #booknookstagram by @howtobe247

Taking a breather 🍃

Hey everyone! I'm stepping back for a bit to focus on my well-being and recharge. Health comes first, and it's time I took my own advice. I'll be on hiatus to prevent burnout and ensure I come back stronger. Thanks for understanding and see you soon! #SelfCare #Hiatus A serene park setting with a large tree providing shade over a wooden bench. The scene is bathed in soft sunlight filtering through the leaves, creating a peaceful, inviting atmosphere ideal for relaxation. by @howtobe247
