Happy 17 for first born. Time flies. Feels like yesterday we were driving home from the hospital driving 18 in a 30 and both my wife and said at the same time, "I cant believe they let us take this kid home...we have no idea what we are doing"....Lily- your an amazing kid and we are proud to call you our daughter. I dont post on social media very much. My kids make fun of me for my lack of followers, but this fella deserves a post. Our family lost a brother today. I lost my work from home shadow. Eugene, who would of been 10 november 1st, died unexpectedly from a stroke in my car today. Dogs are the best, but their last day is the worst. He wasnt the smartest, he wasnt the most well trained, but he loved, he was loyal and he was ours. He saw me through the death of my brother, he helped us raise 4 kids from newborns and young ones to tennagers, middle schoolers and elementary students. We thought we had a few more years to have you fully evolve into the water dog you were. However, life the past 10 years was better because you were in it. It's funny you get so broken up over a dog. However, this dude in hindsight meant more to me than that. Eugene, you will be missed buddy. The house feels a little less full tonight and it sucks. by @hoyascot

2 pictures and 1 video from USA Volleyball week in Madison. The kids from florida kicked ass, but it isnt the result, it was the experience that mattered most.. although a 55 second point for Team Florida with Bahar all over the court was pretty exciting! by @hoyascot

Solid early Class of 2030 watch list props by my kid. Congrats to all these ladies...including all her Tribe teammates. Keep grinding and having fun. Whole bunch of opportunity ahead for all these talented ladies. by @hoyascot

Had a great time albeit absurdly long 7 days in madison wisconsin with team florida. Fun to watch bahar and her teammates finish off their 13U year. As a parent, it brings me pride, enjoyment and fullness to watch a kid do something by herself. She has earned all the accolades simply by being eager to listen, learn, be willing to improve and put the work in. Bright futures lie ahead with continued work for bahar and all these impressive young ladies. Happy to be along for the ride if only for filling water bottles, paying for door dash and buying snacks... by @hoyascot

3rd place at USA Volleyball Nationals. 13U Open. Fun team to watch. As a parent, i had so much enjoyment watching this team. Each and every player contributed and all of these young women improved since November. Over 4000 13u teams in the USA. So to finish 3rd is pretty impressive and something for the entire team to be proud of. by @hoyascot

So this happened. 2 years playing volleyball. So much improvement. Works hard. Has fun. Has a grear club team with girls she enjoys playing with. She earned this. Congratulations Bahar. Nice to have hard work get noticed. Keep it up! Look forward to seeing this squad in Madison in July against all the other USA Volleyball regions squads by @hoyascot
