Almost 2 years ago, I was posted to Jigawa to serve my Fatherland. During my youth service, the Lord inspired me to leave a mark in the land and told me what to do. So towards the end of 2023, I sent an application to do the work the Lord has sent me. I was tempted to do it the easy and casual way but thankfully, 2024 came and with it, THE BIG YEAR!

My easy and casual plans were suddenly truncated by the teachings of my Father in the Lord, Apostle Femi Lazarus and the encouragement of the amazing friends I have around me. Suddenly realising my budget was now 6 million naira 😄, The Big Year can never be small oooo... I remember my LGI calling me to see him, and he urged me to reduce the budget, explaining to me why I had to. In my mind, I felt this man did not have faith. And honestly, I had huge faith and words I had received from God. I was sooo confident.

Then came the season of sourcing for the funds that the Lord has already given me, you know I just needed to palpate it in my account 😃😊... then I started understanding why LGI wanted me to reduce my budget. 😄🤣😂... My project money is in the hands of my sponsors, and I had to pray it, compel it and urge it out of their hands. I thought it was only about pitching my project excellently and eloquently, but I realised it was more than that.

And through the journey, I am grateful for everyone that the Lord used for me, my family, my parents, my spiritual parents, my sisters, my friends, my senior colleagues at my PPA and the NYSC officials in my LGA.

With profound gratitude in my heart, I say it is such an honour and a huge privilege to be among the prestigious winners of the President's NYSC Honours Awards. I am truly grateful to God for this. And I really can't shake off the feeling and the knowing that "There is more".

The Empty Grave

His grave was empty,
