HP Arts was able to provide these portable, heavy-duty storage units for paint and scene shop tools. The students are able to keep creating amazing props and scenes while making the best use of limited space and safely securing equipment. They definitely did an awesome job with Pippin’!!! by @hp_techtheatre

Technicans!!!

Hey guys, the technicians just wanted to say how glad we are to be apart of this amazing show: Pippin. From fixing technical errors to painting the sets, the technicians have put their heart and soul into this production. We are so thankful to have this opportunity and we are so glad to everyone who came out and supported us. Goodbye seniors and goodbye to the wonderful production we had from all our hard work! We hope everyone found their corner of the sky with this extraordinary show, Pippin the Musical.

We just finished our 3rd show and today we honor our balcony technicians. These are the people who work from the balcony; despite being so far away they do some of the most important jobs.

Ben Abernathy, Max Worley: the spots, aka the reason why you can see the actors faces clearly. They are both freshmen and this is their first show at HPHS! As amazing as our light technician is, we still need more light to illuminate the leads’ faces so you can see. We love you spots!

Holden Hayes: our projections operator. He is a freshman and this is his first show at HPHS! He’s the aesthetics; from changing scene to scene smoothly to making the stage a game board, Holden can do anything. We are so glad to have him in our crew and we look forward to having him in shows to come.

These are our balcony brigade; as freshman they are motivated, passionate, and most of all dedicated to their role. We love our fantastic freshmen. 🪄♠️♥️ by @hp_techtheatre

We are back at it with our 2nd night of Pippin. Today is our Dazzling Dressers!!! ♠️♥️🪄

Rebecca Maddox (Head Dresser), Mary Jane Galt, Audrey Hufsey, Kara Moran: Rebecca is our head dresser and a senior (3rd show), Mary Jane Galt is a senior (4th show), Audrey Hufsey is a sophomore (2nd show), Kara Moran is a freshman (1st show!!). They are the backbones of the costume department. They make everything look easy but in reality they are constantly helping with mics, fixing wardrobe malfunctions, and making sure every cast member looks their best. We are so glad to have such a good group of dressers. Their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed! 🃏🪄 by @hp_techtheatre

Opening night was a blast and we would like to honor our running crew aka the backstage ninjas on their hard work! 🥷✨

Cadie Walsh: our wonderful stage manager who runs the back stage. She is a junior and Pippin is her 4th show. She is the person to go to if you need anything backstage; she has spreadsheets, lists, and is ready to troubleshoot at any time. We are so glad to have her and can’t wait to see more from her!

Cece Hoff, Jayden Kingcade, Cayenne Henry: these are our assistant stage managers. As great as our stage managers are, they can’t do it alone, so these people come and save the day. Cece and Jayden are both sophomores with Cece having done 3 shows and Jayden having done 2. Cayenne is our one and only freshman who took on the challenge and has flawlessly done her job. We are so grateful to have them in our crew!

Peyton Smith: the witty props master. She is a junior and this is her very first show at HPHS! She takes care of all the props, making sure they get to the actors and on stage just in time. We are so grateful to have her on our crew and we look forward to seeing all the props on stage reflecting Peyton’s hard work!

Myles Kingcade and Indiana Meyers: these are our sneaky running crew ninjas. They are both freshman doing their first show at HPHS! These are the guys that are ready to do any task at any time, no matter if it’s setting props, moving set pieces, or working the fog machine. We are so glad they can be on our crew and help us create magic!

Lauren Tharp: she is the A2 aka the backstage mic wiz. She is a junior and this is her 4th show at HPHS. She is the one who deals with mic issues; whether it’s replacing a mic, batteries, or mic tape, she is always ready to fix what is needed. We are so glad to have her as the show always goes smoothly with her on standby!

We love y’all and we can’t do the show without y’all, so thank you! ♠️♥️♣️♦️ by @hp_techtheatre
